The Story About Tom Cruise Bringing Robots to 'Mission: Impossible 7' Set Has Been Debunked

A very interesting report about Tom Cruise surfaced this week, but a source is debunking the story.

A tabloid report in the UK paper The Sun claimed that Tom paid “huge sums” for two state-of-the-art robots to patrol the set of Mission: Impossible 7 and enforce the COVID-19 guidelines.

The paper’s source claimed, “Tom is so serious about making sure the shoot isn’t shut down that he’s splashed out on these robots as he can’t be everywhere to ensure people are behaving themselves… The robots are really sophisticated and rather intimidating. It’s like the Terminator only not as violent.”

You might remember that last month, there was a leaked audio tape in which you could hear Tom going on a tirade on the M:I7 set after COVID-19 rules were broken.

Now, a source has told Slash Film that “the story is inaccurate and confirmed that there are no robots on set.” Despite there not being robots patrolling the set, there reportedly are robots on set that administer COVID-19 tests.
