Who is the Beekeeper in ‘WandaVision’? Spoilers Ahead!

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD! DO NOT READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!

WandaVision made its’ debut on Disney+ today (January 15) and fans can’t stop talking about the first two episodes.

If you’re unfamiliar, the new Marvel series centers on Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), who have found themselves in a suburban paradise where they can live a happy married life together, all while keeping their superpowers a secret.

The first two episodes re-introduced Wanda and Vision to audiences, and they also met Teyonah Parris as Geraldine and Kathryn Hahn‘s Agnes.

However, there are also a lot of questions about the show still and fans will get to find out more in the next seven episodes that will drop weekly – including the Beekeeper.

Comic book and massive MCU fans might see a connection already, but who might actually be the beekeeper?

Find out who the beekeeper is on ‘WandaVision’ inside…

Keep reading below…

At the end of episode two, the beekeeper is seen coming out of a sewer, which Wanda sees.

Knowing what the beekeeper means and is, she says “No”, before it seems that she forces herself and Vision to go back in time to moments before to avoid seeing the beekeeper.

The Beekeeper in WandaVision

The beekeeper could be a nod to the comics and might reference AIM, or Advanced Idea Mechanics, which is an organization of researchers who reject formal ideas of ethics and prize the pursuit of dangerous knowledge above all else.

The uniforms of AIM are bright yellow hazmat suits with black detailing and a big clear window on the hood. Many, including Marvel characters and Marvel fans refer to them as “beekeeper guys.”

They’re connected to Wanda through her own MCU history, and through the commercials of WandaVision too.

In the series, AIM is referenced in the advertisements for Strucker watches, which is a nod to Wolfgang von Strucker, who made an appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

In the movie franchise, Strucker is also the Hydra scientist who used Loki’s scepter to awaken superpowers to Wanda and her brother Pietro at the behest of Hydra.

Strucker, in the comics, is the founder of AIM.

WandaVision airs Fridays on Disney+. Stay tuned for more intel on the beekeeper!
