Here's How Britney Spears Fans Are Reacting To 'Framing Britney Spears' Documentary
Tonight, the new documentary focusing on Britney Spears‘ conservatorship premiered, and fans have a lot of thoughts about it.
The documentary, which was produced by The New York Times, has been eye-opening for many and their reactions on Twitter have brought the documentary to the #2 trending spot.
The official description for the doc says that “people close to Britney Spears and lawyers tied to her conservatorship now reassess her phenomenal career and brutal downfall, as she battles her father in court over who should control her life.”
“Anyways, just finished #FramingBritneySpears and I’m packing up my car to drive across the country to free her myself. This is ridiculous now,” one fan wrote after watching the episodes.
Another added, “thank you for this documentary! i really hope #FramingBritneySpears will help change the general public’s perception of who britney is and help her regain control of her life. #FreeBritney.”
Just days before the documentary aired, fans slammed her digital team as they tried to figure out if Britney was the one actually in charge of her Instagram.

I firmly believe that if Britney had been allowed to appoint Adam Streisand things would be very different today #FramingBritneySpears

โI donโt want my father to be the conservator" that was so sad to hear. ๐ช She always knew that POS only wanted to take advantage of her situation and make money of her misery. It's not fair, she deserves her freedom #FreeBritney #FramingBritneySpears

I hate what the world has done to Britney. I hate that no one took a step back and said, what is our role in all of this?
Her spiral was not of her own making.
Sheโs lucky to still be here. #FramingBritneySpears #FreeBritney— nugget. (@waddlesyo) February 6, 2021

These grown ass men who spoke to 18 year old Britney about her โbreastsโ and making bad jokes about her sexuality on late night… God I really hate the late 90s and early aughts. Also Jay Leno really was the worst. #FreeBritney #FramingBritneySpears

The New York Times attempted to reach Britney Spears directly to request her participation in this project.
It is unclear if she received the requests. #FreeBritney #FramingBritneySpears pic.twitter.com/TyNh5HQ9w2
