Priyanka Chopra Reveals Viewership Numbers for 'The White Tiger' on Netflix

Priyanka Chopra is opening up about the success of her new Netflix movie, The White Tiger.

The film was released on the streaming service on January 22 and it was just revealed that the movie is on track to be seen by 27 million households in its first four weeks.

“It’s so emotional for me to see the discovery and acceptance of this brilliant incredible story. #TheWhiteTiger being embraced by audiences all over the world is awe inspiring,” Priyanka wrote on Twitter.

Priyanka congratulated and thanked the movie’s team and then said, “Thank you @netflix for giving little movie wings.”

The White Tiger follows the rise of Balram Halwai from poor villager to successful entrepreneur in modern India. The film is based on the New York Times bestseller and 2008 Man Booker Prize-winning novel.
