Kelly Clarkson Admits Co-Parenting with Estranged Husband Brandon Blackstock is 'Tough'

Kelly Clarkson is opening up about where her relationship stands with estranged husband Brandon Blackstock.

The 38-year-old entertainer chatted with Khloe Kardashian about co-parenting on the latest episode of her talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show on Tuesday (February 9).

You speak about co-parenting, and I’m doing that right now too,” Kelly said. “It’s tough. … I know with me and Brandon, it’s just a difficult thing because we’re in different places, and it’s like, we both agree on the main things, but it’s hard thing when you’re not together all the time, for me personally.”

Kelly and the 44-year-old talent manager share two kids – daughter River, 6, and son Remington, 4. The couple married in 2013 and filed for divorce in June 2020.

Later in the interview, Kelly said that she and Brandon will always “focus on” their kids.

“As long as you make sure it’s about the children and their best interests, then we’re both on board,” Kelly added.

Kelly recently revealed the hardest part of her divorce.
