Wendy's Seemingly Roasts Armie Hammer with a Cannibalism Tweet
The Wendy’s social media team tweeted and deleted a “roast” that seemingly referred to Armie Hammer.
The fast food chain’s Twitter account celebrated National Roast Day this week by tweeting funny things about tons of brands.
“Time for everybody’s favorite made up social media holiday. It’s #NationalRoastDay, like right now. Drop a ‘Roast Me’ below and feel the burn,” Wendy’s tweeted.
The account for film studio Lionsgate responded and said, “ok i’ll play… roast me.”
In case you forgot, Armie was set to star in the upcoming Lionsgate movie Shotgun Wedding, but he dropped out of the film amid the DMs scandal he’s currently involved in. One of the messages that he allegedly sent to a woman on Instagram said, “I am 100% a cannibal.”

A story about Armie‘s interaction with a journalist went viral over the weekend.
OOOOOOOOH MY WORD.
No wonder the tweet was deleted… That was next level.
