Janet Jackson Breaks Silence After Justin Timberlake Apologizes to Her

Janet Jackson is speaking out.

After receiving an apology from Justin Timberlake the day before, the 54-year-old entertainer took to Twitter on Saturday (February 13) to share a message to her fans for all of their love and support over these past few days.

“I was at home just the other day by myself and I began to cry. I was crying because I was so thankful for all that God has blessed me with. All that he has given me. For Him being in my life,” Janet says in the video.

“And I am so thankful for all of you being in my life. You’re so special to me,” Janet continued. “And I want to thank all of you for making ‘Control’ number one once again after 35 years. I never in a million years, I would never think that this would happen. I really appreciate you and I love you so, so much. Thank you.”

Janet never directly referenced the apology from the 40-year-old former *NSYNC member.

Justin came under fire after the release of the Framing Britney Spears documentary which highlighted his treatment of Britney Spears after their breakup in 2002. Fans also demanded that he also apologize to Janet over his actions following their infamous 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
