Morgan Wallen's 'Dangerous' Earns Sixth Week at No. 1 at Billboard 200 Amid Controversy

Morgan Wallen remains on top of the charts.

The 27-year-old country singer’s Dangerous: The Double Album is No. 1 for a sixth week on the Billboard 200 as of Sunday (February 21), according to the company.

The run marks the most weeks atop the list for a male artist since Drake’s Views spent 13 nonconsecutive weeks at the top in 2016.

Dangerous brought in 93,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the past week, and only three albums have spent at least six weeks at No. 1 in the last five years: Dangerous, Taylor Swift’s Folklore (eight nonconsecutive weeks, 2020) and Drake’s Views (13).

Earlier in the month, footage surfaced of the singer using a racial slur, which has yet to make any significant impact on his sales, despite being suspended from his record label and ineligible for some awards.

Here’s what he said in his apology video.
