Rick and Morty: The Complete Seasons 1-4

Wubba lubba dub dub! This week grab a copy of Rick and Morty: The Complete Season 1-4 which was just released.

The new set features all 4 seasons to date complete with 41 episodes of the hilarious drunk mad scientist grandfather and his insecure grandson that has now become one of the biggest pop cultural shows of all time.

Here’s the studio’s synopsis: After having been missing for nearly 20 years, Rick Sanchez suddenly arrives at daughter Beth’s doorstep to move in with her and her family. Although Beth welcomes Rick into her home, her husband, Jerry, isn’t as happy about the family reunion. Jerry is concerned about Rick, a sociopathic scientist, using the garage as his personal laboratory. In the lab, Rick works on a number of sci-fi gadgets, some of which could be considered dangerous. But that’s not all Rick does that concerns Jerry. He also goes on adventures across the universe that often involve his children, Morty and Summer.

Most notable episodes that were added to this set were Rattlestar Ricklactica and Star Mort Rickturn of the Jerri in the season 4 add on.

This release features a great 1080p Full HD video with DTS-HD Master Audio for English 5.1.

Special features of the film include commentaries of each episode, a handful of deleted scenes, in addition to featurettes of the origins of the show. This set also includes the latest season, season 4 which goes more indepth on some of the elements of the season in character creation, prop process, and animation challenges.

It took over 2 years for season 4 to arrive since season 3, and although no official date has been announced for season 5, Adult Swim did announce that it ordered 70 more episodes at that point.

“We’re literally writing season five while finishing season four just to force ourselves to commit to a certain schedule,” Rick and Morty creator, Dan Harmon explained. “Not to get anyone’s hopes up, but it is structured into our deal that if we’re going strong and fast there are options to deliver more episodes at a time.”

In the meantime, while we wait for the next season this Rick and Morty set is a great addition to anyone that has yet to have seen this iconic pop culture duo. The set is currently on sale on Amazon for $63.50, a discount from the $89.99 MSRP.
