Halsey Announces Pronouns Are Now 'She/They'
Halsey has made a subtle announcement.
Fans noticed on Saturday (March 13) that the 26-year-old pregnant “Without Me” singer changed their bio on Instagram to reveal that she is now going by the “she/they” pronouns.

Halsey, who identifies as bisexual, has been very outspoken about their sexuality and LGBTQ+ rights.
“I’m a young, bisexual woman, and I’ve spent a large part of my life trying to validate myself — to my friends, to my family, to myself — trying to prove that who I love and how I feel is not a phase; it’s not part of some confusion that’s going to change or could be manipulated,” Halsey said while being honored with the Outstanding Music Artist title at the 2018 GLAAD Media Awards via People. “So I tried really hard to find the courage this year to write female pronouns into my music.”
Halsey is currently expecting their first child with boyfriend Alev Aydin. She recently shared a super cute photo of their bare, growing baby bump.
