Scott Disick Reveals Why He Split from Sofia Richie in 'KUWTK' Final Season Premiere

Scott Disick is sharing the story behind his split from ex-girlfriend Sofia Richie.

During the final season premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Scott had a conversation with Kim and Khloe about what led to the breakup.

Scott and Sofia previously broke up because she felt that he wasn’t prioritizing their relationship, but then they got back together. Eventually, they broke up again after Sofia gave him an ultimatum.

“I thought I would give it a try and make her more of a priority, but then even when doing that, I feel like she just started wanting to push Kourtney out. And I said like, that’s the most important thing to me is my kids and that’s my family, and the only family I have, including you guys along with it,” Scott said on the show.

He continued, “She was like, ‘I don’t want to share you as a boyfriend with Kourtney.’ And then she literally said with an ultimatum: ‘You have to choose me or Kourtney.’”

“And I was like, ‘But Kourtney is Kourtney and my kids — it’s a unit.’ I was like, ‘How could you even want that for me?’ It just became like, an impossible relationship to keep carrying on with, right?” he added.

Scott said in his confessional that he would never cut off his relationship with Kourtney, who is the mother of his three kids.

“I’m never going to give up my relationship with Kourtney and the co-parenting we have, nothing in a million years, will be worth what we have. And I truthfully believe if the right person were to even come along into Kourtney‘s life, or my life, us having children and having this amazing relationship would only be a plus to the outsider,” he said.

After Kim told Scott that sometimes “it’s time just to cut the cord,” he agreed with her and said, “Yeah, like, I need to be with somebody that I trust with all my heart. I trust Kourtney with my life.”
