Britney Spears‘ latest Instagram post will warm your heart and also get you excited about her future!

The 39-year-old entertainer took to social media to share a vintage video of her singing, which her mom sent to her. Brit says that watching the video reminder her that she can sing!

“Geez … My mom sent this to me and reminded me that I can sing 🎶😂🙈🎤!!!! She said ‘You never sing anymore … you need to again !!!!’” Britney captioned the post.

She continued, “I’ve actually never watched this performance … it’s definitely from a while ago !!!! It’s from one of the first trips I took alone … mostly I just remember saying ‘WOW Singapore’ 🇸🇬😍!!!!!”

The song that Britney is singing is a cover of The Jets‘ “You Got It All,” which was featured as a bonus track on the international version of her sophomore album Oops I Did It Again.

Last year, Britney‘s mom Lynne Spears filed a request to be included in decisions about her daughter’s finances. We sure hope that the reminder she gave to Britney will motivate her to sing for fans in the future, as long as it makes her happy!
