Child Actor Houston Tumlin Dies By Suicide at Age 28

Child actor Houston Tumlin tragically died by suicide at the young age of 28.

The former actor was only in one film – Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby – back in 2006 in the role of foul-mouthed son Walker Bobby. One memorable scene in the movie featured him at the dinner table opposite Grayson Russell as Texas Ranger Bobby.

His death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head at his home in Pelham, Alabama on Tuesday (March 23), TMZ reports. His girlfriend was at home with him at the time of his death.

After leaving acting behind, he also served in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell.

Our thoughts are with Houston‘s friends, family, and loved ones during this difficult time.
