Maren Morris Spreads Body Positivity & Calls Out The Notion That Women Should 'Snap Back' After Giving Birth

Maren Morris is sharing her body positivity with her fans.

The 30-year-old singer took to social media to spread some self love to her legion of fans and followers, and revealed the empowering reason she’ll never be trying to get her old body back after welcoming son Hayes, 1, with her husband, Ryan Hurd.

“am never saying ‘trying to get my body back’ again. no one took it, i didn’t lose it like a set of keys,” she wrote, alongside of an image of her wearing her undergarments and sitting on a bed.

Maren adds that “the pressure we put on mothers to ‘snap back’ is insurmountable and deeply troublesome. you are and always were a f***ing badass. and yeah, I’m proud.”

The “Bones” singer and Ryan just celebrated Hayes‘ first birthday, and it was Peter Rabbit themed!
