There’s one detail about Taylor Swift‘s song “Mr. Perfectly Fine” that so many fans are focusing on after its release earlier this week!

Fans quickly figured out that the song was most likely written about Taylor‘s ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas and the amount of times that she says “Mr.” in the song is now an important detail.

You might remember that when Taylor appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in November 2008, she revealed that Joe broke up with her during a 27-second phone call.

Well, fans initially thought that Taylor said the word “Mr.” in the song exactly 27 times, in reference to the 27-second breakup phone call. The theory spread quickly on social media, but then fans realized she actually says the word 28 times.

Now, some fans are coming up with the theory that Taylor tried to one-up Joe by including one more mention than 27.
