Brian Dennehy's Daughter Posts Heartbreaking Tweet on the One-Year Anniversary of His Death
It has been one year since legendary actor Brian Dennehy passed away and his daughter Elizabeth posted a heartbreaking tweet to mark that day.
Dennehy died on April 15, 2020 at the age of 81 and even though he didn’t pass away from COVID-19 related matters, his family wasn’t able to say goodbye properly because of the pandemic.

“One year ago today I muted my zoom class, stepped into the hall, and said goodbye to a phone held up to his ear in a hospital across the country. Because of COVID we couldn’t fly there or have a service. I will miss him every day,” Elizabeth tweeted.
Brian was a two-time Tony Award-winning actor. His first big starring role came in the Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo action flick, First Blood, in 1982. He also starred in movies like Tommy Boy, Cocoon, Silverado, Romeo + Juliet, and many more.
