Keith Urban Says Nicole Kidman Loves Playing Lucille Ball in New Biopic
Keith Urban is opening up about Nicole Kidman playing Lucille Ball in the upcoming Being The Ricardos.
The 53-year-old musician, who is promoting this weekend’s ACM Awards, spoke to ExtraTV about Nicole‘s newest role, which had been met with some backlash from fans.
“I’m proud of her for anything,” he shared. “It’s a really an extraordinary role and it’s an extraordinary script — Aaron Sorkin has written beyond on this. It’s just amazing.”
Keith added that Nicole is “loving doing it and it’s an amazing cast. Props to everyone for making things happen.”
To prepare for the part, Keith says that he’s been binging a lot of I Love Lucy episodes with Nicole for it.
The Aaron Sorkin-directed movie will be focusing on Lucille and ex-husband Desi Arnaz face a crisis that could end their careers and another that could end their marriage.
