Twitter Panics Upon Realizing Misha Collins Is at the Oscars 2021

Supernatural fans are absolutely freaking out!

Misha Collins, a favorite from the CW series, was spotted in attendance at the 2021 Academy Awards on Sunday (April 25) at Union Station in Los Angeles.

The mere passing glimpse of the 46-year-old actor was enough to incite a panic among fans on Twitter, leading to a Trending Topic throughout the night – despite the fact that the actor was simply attending the show, and not nominated for any Oscars.

As for why he was there? He’s supporting his friend Darius Marder for his movie Sound of Metal, which nabbed six nominations at the evening’s ceremony.

“I’m proud of my dear friend from 7th grade, @dariusmarder, this morning. The film that he wrote and directed, ‘Sound of Metal,’ just got nominated in six categories for the Oscars. Send him a little love,” he previously wrote on Twitter.

It looks like he went the extra mile by showing up to show his support!

“My bff since I was 12 years old is nominated Oscars in 6 categories tonight and I couldn’t be more proud (or jealous). So happy for him and for this incredible, inclusive film about the deaf community and addiction and the human condition. So full of love and pride tonight…,” he later wrote on Twitter.
