Bo Burnham Filmed a Netflix Musical Comedy Special Amid the Pandemic

Bo Burnham just revealed such an exciting project!

The 30-year-old comedian and Promising Young Woman actor confirmed that his new musical comedy special, Inside, is heading to Netflix.

“hi. i made a new special. it was filmed by me, alone, without a crew or an audience, over the course of the past year. it is almost finished. i hope you like it,” he wrote on Twitter on Wednesday (April 28) along with a teaser clip.

In the teaser, Bo plays a piano alone in a room, and a close-up reveals he’s got a full beard.

There is not yet a release date for Inside, but it’s coming soon to Netflix according to the teaser clip. This will be his first comedy special since 2016′s Make Happy, following his 2013 special what.

In 2018, he also made his feature directorial debut with the critically acclaimed coming-of-age film Eighth Grade. He also won a very prestigious award!
