Duchess Camilla's Son Tom Parker-Bowles Shares Whether She'll Be Called 'Queen'

Tom Parker Bowles is sharing his thoughts.

The 46-year-old writer spoke with UK’s The Times on Thursday (April 29) and discussed the possibility that his mother would eventually be called “Queen.”

Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip‘s oldest son, is presumed next in line for the throne. Since Duchess Camilla and Prince Charles have been married since April 2005, there’s a chance she would be given the title once he becomes king.

However, a press release that was shared on Camilla‘s engagement day said, “It is intended that Mrs. Parker Bowles should use the title HRH The Princess Consort when The Prince of Wales accedes to The Throne.”

“I honestly don’t know if Mum will be called queen,” Tom said. “That hasn’t been decided. There are a lot of interesting Sky documentaries about that I’m sure but I honestly don’t know if that’s true.”

He also added his thoughts about the depiction of his father Andrew Parker-Bowles in Netflix’s hit drama, The Crown.

The Crown is beautifully filmed and beautifully acted but complete bollocks mostly,” he said. “I saw a bit with my dad and thought, ‘God, you’ve got him wrong,’ but I would say that, wouldn’t I?”

It was recently revealed who would play Camilla on the fifth season of the show.
