Zara Tindall's Husband Mike Reveals Why Queen Elizabeth Asked the Royal Family to 'Leave' After Prince Philip's Funeral
Mike Tindall, the husband of Queen Elizabeth‘s granddaughter Zara Tindall, is opening up about Prince Philip‘s funeral.
The former rugby player was one of the 30 guests that were present for the services and now he’s revealing why the family was instructed to leave after the event.

Mike explained that due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the family was unable to have a traditional wake for Prince Philip.
“Even after the funeral it was sort of ‘you all need to leave,’ and so you didn’t even get to have that supportive side afterwards,” he said in an interview with Good Morning Britain.
In a separate interview with BBC Breakfast, Mike noted, “That is what was allowed, that’s what the law and the rules state and so that’s what happened.”
“It was tough, but the funeral was done so well. I think he would have been happier about the way it happened,” he continued, adding that he thought it was “amazing” that the Queen was able to keep her composure as she sat by herself during the service.
