Brody Jenner Discusses His 'Chemistry' with Ex Kristin Cavallari While Filming 'The Hills: New Beginnings'

Brody Jenner is getting real about filming with his ex Kristin Cavallari for The Hills: New Beginnings.

The 37-year-old reality TV star spoke with ET ahead of the show’s season 2 premiere and revealed what it was like to reunite with Kristin.

The trailer for the upcoming season revealed that Kristin would make a brief cameo in the new season, showing a dramatic shot of her exiting a car and making a toast to her former castmates.

“Kristin always comes with fire. You know that Kristin comes in blazing always,” Brody said.

He also addressed whether there were any sparks between himself and Kristin during filming.

“I mean, Kristin and I, we have a past,” he replied.”Kristin and I have dated in the past. It was always going to have chemistry between Kristin and I. I love Kristin, she’s great. You know, we get along, and she’s a lot of fun, for sure.”

Kristin split from her husband Jay Cutler in April after 10 years together. She seemingly confirmed her romance with Jeff Dye earlier this month.

Season 2 of The Hills: New Beginnings will also see Brody address the end of his relationship with Kaitlynn Carter. In a teaser for the show, he revealed what it was like learning that Kaitlynn had begun a relationship with Miley Cyrus.

The Hills: New Beginnings season 2 premieres Wednesday, May 12 on MTV at 9 p.m. ET.
