Tom Welling Reveals If He Would Ever Suit Up as Superman Again

Tom Welling is dishing on a possible return as Superman.

If you forgot, the 44-year-old actor played Clark Kent aka Superman on The CW’s show Smallville from 2001 to 2011. He later reprised his role as Superman in the Arrowverse crossover event “Crisis of Infinite Earths” alongside fellow Superman actors Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh.

In a new interview with El mundo geek de Ernestoneitor, Tom revealed if he would ever suit up again as the Man of Steel.

“Yeah I think that would be cool,” Tom said.

Tom went on to reveal that he’s actually good friends with Robert Pattinson, who will be starring as the Caped Crusader in the upcoming The Batman.

Tom added that he would be down to join the new Batman franchise playing Superman opposite Rob!

“My buddy Rob Pattinson, he is going to be the new Batman,” Tom shared. “I would love…it would be fun to be the Superman that shows up in his movie, just because he is a friend of mine. Yeah, who knows.”

The Batman is scheduled to hit theaters on March 4th, 2022. You can check out the first trailer here!
