Zac Efron's Ex Sarah Bro Says She Dated a Hollywood Star Who 'Almost Brainwashed' Her

Sarah Bro is speaking out.

The 25-year-old Danish Olympic swimmer, who dated Zac Efron back in 2019, seemingly opened up about the relationship on a podcast.

During the podcast, she spoke about a relationship she was previously in with a Hollywood star. And although she did not name Zac specifically, there is speculation that it was clearly about him.

“I had come so far that I hardly knew what was right and wrong. And had been so manipulated and almost brainwashed. But also because I was young, confused and in love, and that I chose to turn a blind eye on purpose,” she said on the podcast, saying that she realized the relationship was toxic.

She also said the actor was condescending, and that just the smallest compliment would make her “ecstatic.”

“I compromised so much with my own boundaries. Eventually, I got so far away from who I really was that I couldn’t recognize myself.”

She added that she has moved on with someone who makes her feel special and loved.

“I had really reached a point where it was normal to have a stomach ache, so not having it is actually quite strange.”
