Zack Snyder Reacts to the Idea of a Black Superman Movie

Zack Snyder is opening up about a film idea.

The 55-year-old Justice League director addressed the idea of having a Black version of a Superman movie in an interview with Radio Times and other press outlets.

Following reports that Warner Bros. is searching for a Black director and Black lead for an upcoming Superman film produced by J.J. Abrams, Zack was asked for this thoughts.

Here’s what he said…

“My feeling is that I love JJ [Abrams], I love what he’s done in the past,” he said.

“I’m interested to see what happens, it’s a bold and cool and probably long overdue move. But I love Henry [Cavill] as Superman, of course I do. He’s my Superman.”

“I’m not really involved in any of the decision-making at Warner Brothers in any way, so I guess for me it’s just waiting and see what they do with this and how it manifests itself. But on the surface, it seems interesting,” he added.

Zack also revealed that he originally had a different title in mind for one of his big movies.
