Princess Beatrice's Baby Will Receive a Royal Title for a Surprising Reason

Princess Beatrice‘s baby is royalty!

The 32-year-old daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson‘s daughter revealed she is expecting her first child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi earlier in the week.

Now, it’s been revealed that the baby will also be receiving a royal title.

The reason for the child’s royal title has to do with dad, Edoardo.

Royal titles pass down through the male line, and because he is an Italian count, the child will either become a count or a nobile donna (Italian for “noble woman”).

“Edoardo is the only male descendent taking the family into the next generation. He is a count, his wife will be a countess automatically and any of their children will be counts or nobile donna,” his father Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi explained to the Daily Mail.

“They are very suited to each other and have known each other for a long time. I’ve never seen him so happy.”
