Ariana Grande Marks 4th Anniversary of Manchester Bombing With Touching Message

Ariana Grande is speaking out on the fourth anniversary of the Manchester bombing.

The Grammy-winning singer performed a concert in the U.K. city on May 22, 2017. While fans were leaving the arena, a bomber killed 22 people and injured more than 500 other people.

Weeks later, Ariana returned to the city for a star-studded benefit concert to raise money for the victims. $13 million was raised during the concert.

“Although grief is ever-present and our relationship to it is constantly evolving and expressing itself in different ways every day, year round…. I know that this anniversary will never be an easy one. Please know that I am thinking of you today,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

Ariana added, “Manchester, my heart is with you today and always.”

The message also included the names of the people who died: John Atkinson, Courtney Boyle, Philip Tron, Kelly Brewster, Georgina Callander, Olivia Campbell-Hardy, Liam Curry, Chloe Rutherford, Wendy Fawell, Martyn Hett, Alison Howe, Lisa Lees, Megan Hurley, Nell ones, Michelle Kiss, Angelika Klis, Marcin Klis, Morrell Leczkowski, Eilidh MacLeod, Elaine McIver, Saffie Rose Rouses and Jane Tweddle.
