Jack Black Pays Tribute to 'School of Rock' Co-Star Kevin Clark After Sudden Death

Jack Black is reacting to the sudden and shocking death of his School of Rock co-star Kevin Clark.

On Wednesday (May 26), it was announced that Kevin, who played kid drummer Freddy Jones in the 2003 movie, was killed earlier that morning after he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle in Chicago’s Avondale neighborhood. He was only 32.

After news broke of Kevin‘s death, Jack took to Instagram to remember his late co-star.

“Devastating news. Kevin is gone. Way too soon. Beautiful soul. So many great memories. Heartbroken. Sending love to his family and the whole School of Rock community,” Jack wrote along with a still from School of Rock of he and Kevin, and another more recent photo of the two of them.

Our thoughts are with Kevin‘s loved ones during this difficult time.

We have sadly lost all of these stars in 2021, and we continue to mourn these losses.
