Emma Stone Reacts to Rumors of Her Return as Gwen Stacy in 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'

Emma Stone is responding to rumors about Spider-Man 3: No Way Home.

The upcoming Marvel film is follow-up to Spider-Man: Far From Home and will feature appearances from characters within the Spider-Man multiverse.

While it was confirmed that Andrew Molina and Jamie Foxx were set to reprise their roles as Doc Ock and Electro in the movie, fans also speculated that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would potentially make appearances in the film as well.

Emma, who played Gwen Stacy in the 2012 iteration of the franchise, addressed the rumors that she would be participating in the new movie during an interview with MTV News on Thursday (May 27).

“I have heard those rumors,” Emma said. “I don’t know if I’m supposed to say anything, but I’m not [involved].”I’m not. I don’t know what you’re supposed to respond as an alumnus.”

Earlier this month, her The Amazing Spiderman co-star Andrew Garfield also denied that he would be appearing in the new movie.

Tom Holland also responded to the rumor.
