Kathy Hilton Reveals the Moment She Stopped Watching 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'

Kathy Hilton is getting candid about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

The 62-year-old has joined the reality TV series as a “friend of the cast” this season but she has a long history with the show. Her sister Kim appeared on past seasons of the franchise and her youngest sister Kyle Richards stars alongside her in the current season.

However, Kathy hasn’t always been an avid viewer of RHOBH. In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, she revealed the moment she took a break from watching the series.

Kathy revealed that she had been in conversation with the team at Bravo about joining the franchise for a while, but it had been “touch and go” for many months.

“Finally I thought, ‘You know this is a great opportunity to spend time with Kyle,’” she said of her decision to join the cast. “I’m sure that most of those who watch the show know that we’ve had a rough road for many years.”

She also said that she felt filming the show with her sister ultimately brought them much closer, though she added that she hadn’t watched the show prior to this season.

“I don’t watch the show… I did up until [Kim and Kyle's] big fight, and then that was it,” Kathy shared, referring to her sister’s massive confrontation in the back of a limo during season one.

RHOBH cast member Sutton Stracke recently apologized for comments she made about racial stereotypes on the latest episode of the show.
