Seth Meyers Details His Cringeworthy Moment with Beyonce

Celebs – they’re just like us! Seth Meyers had an awkward encounter with Beyonce at Saturday Night Live‘s 40th anniversary party years ago, where the late Prince performed a concert.

“I was doing the ‘excuse me,’” he told Kelly about trying to get through a big crowd at the party. “And my face came this close to Beyoncé and our eyes met and I just was like, ‘Pretty cool party, right?’”

“And she said, ‘yeah.’ And we just kept going. Like, the momentum took us away,” he said.

Seth then recalled what his wife, Alexi Ashe, said to him after the interaction, saying, “My wife said, ‘Wow, you really killed that interaction.’”

“She’s like, ‘you better leave your ringer on,’” he said she added. “‘Cause you’re probably gonna get a call from Beyoncé!’”
