Emilia Clarke Just Learned the Fate of Her 'Star Wars' Character, Years After 'Solo' Release

Emilia Clarke starred in the movie Solo: A Star Wars Story as Qi’ra and she just learned the fate of her character, years after the movie was released.

At the end of the movie, Qi’ra’s fate was unknown after she abandoned Han Solo to go meet with Maul.

Well, Qi’ra just made an appearance in the comic book series Star Wars: Wars of the Bounty Hunters and we learned what she’s been up to!

It was revealed in the comic book that Qi’ra is still working with Crimson Dawn, more than a decade after the events of Solo. She’s also still connected to Han Solo!

Emilia spoke to ComicBook.com about the reappearance of Qi’ra.

“It means so much,” Emilia said. “It means the absolute world. I know her backstory. I know her history. Maybe the movie didn’t get to go there, but that was such an honor and a privilege to be part of that universe as an actor. So then, to see the character actually be taken on to the origin of all of it — bringing it on home to the family in that way — cemented it in a way. I was not expecting to feel as moved as I was by that.”
