Jacob Elordi Speaks Out After '2 Hearts' Climbs Netflix Charts, Makes One Thing Clear

Jacob Elordi wants to make one thing clear about his new movie 2 Hearts… it’s not actually that new.

The 23-year-old Australian actor took to his Instagram Stories on Saturday night (June 5) to comment on his movie, which is currently climbing the Netflix charts.

At the time of this post, 2 Hearts is sitting at #7 on the overall Netflix chart and #3 on the Netflix movies chart. It’s also the #1 live-action movie at the moment.

2 Hearts is based on a true story and follows parallel love stories. In the stories, the lives of college student Chris (Elordi) and wealthy businessman Jorge (Adan Canto) intersect in a profound twist of fate.

The movie was one of the first films that Jacob booked after the hit Netflix movie The Kissing Booth back in 2018 and it seems he wants fans to know it was made back then.

“Made 2 hearts over three years ago,” Jacob wrote in his post.

The film was released in theaters in October 2020 and earned just $1.3 million at the box office. It now is available for streaming on Netflix.
