Trisha Paytas Tearfully Announces Exit From Frenemies Podcast

Trisha Paytas is saying goodbye to her popular podcast, Frenemies.

The 33-year-old YouTube star and podcaster confirmed on Tuesday (June 8) that she would be leaving the podcast run since September of 2020 with Ethan Klein in a YouTube video.

The video came just after a disagreement, in which the H3H3 production crew expressed they were unhappy with Trisha‘s conduct during the latest episode of the show, and that the crew would pause recording the show for the week.

Trisha said they wanted the show to be a partnership, while Ethan felt Trisha is “the talent.”

“I do feel like I contributed half to Frenemies,” Trisha said in the tearful announcement.

“I thought I would have more of a say, and last night – there’s literally no blame in this on my end – Ethan‘s like, H3 produces it, you’re the talent. That’s when I realized that it’s different than I thought it was,” she explained.

“I thought we were 50-50 building the show. Leaving Frenemies sucks,” Trisha said before getting choked up.

“I feel like I helped build that. I know it sounds like I’m being an absolute cry-baby about the situation…it is the crew issue. I am so sorry…the crew is so nice. I have no issue with them as people. I don’t feel comfortable walking into something Ethan‘s built…if I knew I was coming in as a third H3 show, I swear, hand to God, I wouldn’t have done it.”

“i am honestly gutted over this whole thing, trisha‘s video this morning was a total surprise to me. I dont really know what more I can say or do. Im very sorry to all the fans of frenemies, I know how much it meant to everyone, I did everything I humanly could to save it,” Ethan wrote in response to the news on Twitter.
