Kyle Dean Massey Drops Out of Broadway's 'Company' to Focus on His Growing Family

Kyle Dean Massey has announced that he will not return to Broadway with the cast of Company when the show resumes performances in December.

The 39-year-old actor released a statement on his Instagram Stories on Thursday (June 17) to explain his decision.

Kyle is currently expecting his first child with husband Taylor Frey and he will be focusing on his family.

“For whoever may be interested: I have decided not to return to COMPANY when it returns to Broadway this winter,” Kyle said in the message. “I loved getting to work with the entire group of creatives, actors, musicians and crew. But as you may be aware, Taylor and I are expecting our first child this fall and I want to be 100% present for that.”

He concluded, “I feel very sad about withdrawing, but know that I will be getting something pretty spectacular in return.”
