Child Actor Matthew Mindler's Official Cause of Death Revealed as His Mom Speaks Out

The Lancaster County Medical Examiner’s Office has revealed Matthew Mindler‘s cause of death, and his mother is speaking out as well after the tragedy.

The 19-year-old Our Idiot Brother actor passed away in August of 2021 at the age of 19.

The cause of death has been ruled suicide by sodium nitrate toxicity, TMZ reports. Matthew‘s mom explained to TMZ that sometimes, this kind of toxicity death is accidental. She discovered his Internet searches were in relation to using this substance as a lethal compound as it pertained to suicide.

Matthew apparently bought the substance online. RIP.
