Tara Lipinski Marries Todd Kapostasy in Romantic Ceremony

Tara Lipinski and Todd Kapostasy have tied the knot!

The 35-year-old Olympic gold medalist and the Fox sports producer got married in an “ultra-romantic” ceremony on Saturday (June 24) at Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, S.C., People reports.

(It is the same location where Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively secretly got married in 2012.)

The former figure skater wore a Reem Acra gown with a 20-foot tulle skirt, paired with Charlotte Olympia pumps.

Her bridal party included fellow figure skater and good friend Johnny Weir, her “bridesman.” Her former Olympics coach was also in attendance.

“@johnnygweir a little surprise I made happen for you today,” Tara captioned the Instagram photo below. “Love you, my partner in crime. Let’s go and get married!! #TNTmeant2be.”

Tara and Todd served Southern-style comfort food, such as chicken and waffles with maple bacon syrup, as well as chocolate milkshakes with Kahlua.

The couple met in May 2015 when Tara presented an award to Todd at the Sports Emmys. They got engaged a few months later.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Jennifer Lawrence, Jon Hamm, & More Unite for Planned Parenthood (Video)

Jennifer Lawrence and Jon Hamm are just two of more than 25 stars who want you to take control of your health and body.

In a new video posted by Lena Dunham‘s online newsletter, Lenny Letter, along with news company NowThis, celebs have joined forces to support Planned Parenthood.

They urge viewers to fight against President Donald Trump‘s proposed health care bill and protect access to health care services by calling their senators.

The video also features Brie Larson, Amy Poehler, Judd Apatow, Spike Jonze, Riz Ahmed, Elisabeth Moss, Aubrey Plaza, Alison Brie, Jack Antonoff, Jenny Slate, Suki Waterhouse, activist Gloria Steinem, comedian Retta, and more.

“We are so grateful to have the support of so many artists, many of whom have themselves relied on Planned Parenthood for health care and who understand the importance of speaking out,” said Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Action Fund, in a statement.

“This support is especially important right now as the Senate is jamming through a bill that would block millions of women from getting birth control and cancer screenings at Planned Parenthood,” she added. “Now is the time to speak out. One in five women in this country rely on Planned Parenthood for care. They will not stay silent as politicians vote to take away their care and their rights.”

Olivia Wilde's Play '1984' Is So Intense that Audiences Faint & Vomit

Olivia Wilde's Play '1984' Is So Intense that Audiences Faint & Vomit

Olivia Wilde is currently making her Broadway debut in the stage version of the classic book 1984 and she’s opening up about the audience reaction to the play.

There have been reports of audience members fainting and throwing up in the theater. There have even been arrests after patrons got into a fight over the themes in the play.

“I’m not surprised, since this experience is unique, bold and immersive,” Olivia told THR. “It allows you to empathize in a visceral way, and that means making the audience physically and emotionally uncomfortable.”

“You can stay and watch or you can leave — that’s a perfectly fine reaction to watching someone be tortured. But if this show is the most upsetting part of anyone’s day, they’re not reading the news headlines. Things are much worse than a piece of theater getting under your skin a little bit,” co-director Robert Icke said.

No one under 13 is allowed inside the theater after there were some children in attendance at early performances. Go get your tickets now!
