'Now You See Me 3' Confirmed to Be In Development, 1 Actor Joins Cast, 5 Stars Returning, Another Seemingly Exits & the Fate of 2 Unclear

We just got a big update about the Now You See Me franchise!

The series kicked off in 2013 with the first movie, which introduced us to the Four Horsemen and their leader, a group a street magicians who find worldwide fame by pulling off impressive heists.

A sequel followed in 2016, and a third movie was said to be in the works as recently as 2020. However, since then we haven’t heard much.

On Tuesday (April 16), it was confirmed that work on the movie was progressing, and some big casting news was revealed!

One actor has joined the cast, and five more stars have been confirmed to return for the new movie. It appears that another actor will not be returning, and the fate of two others is still unclear.

Margaret Qualley is backing out of a new Hulu limited series where she was supposed to play Amanda Knox.

It was reported back in March that the 29-year-old actress had joined the untitled project.

The project was described as being “based on the true story of how Knox was wrongfully convicted for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher and her 16-year odyssey to set herself free.”
