The 2024 Daytime Emmys are coming up!
The upcoming awards celebrate and recognize “outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts since 1974, honoring work in a variety of categories, including daytime dramas, talk shows, instructional programming, hosting, culinary and legal/courtroom programs.”
Ahead of the full list of this year’s nominations on Friday (April 19), the noms in five categories have already been announced, including Oustanding Daytime Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actor and Outstanding Daytime Talk Host!

The Broadway revival of The Wiz is officially open!
Nichelle Lewis is playing the lead role of Dorothy in the beloved musical and she looked gorgeous in green while attending the opening night party on Wednesday (April 17) in New York City.
The Broadway newcomer was joined at the celebration by co-stars Wayne Brady, Deborah Cox, Melody A. Betts, Kyle Ramar Freeman, Phillip Johnson Richardson, and Avery Wilson at the opening night celebration. The opening comes two months after the show played in Los Angeles for the final stop of the North American tour.
Some of the celebs who were in attendance at the opening included Hillary Clinton, Anna Wintour, engaged couple Ben Platt and Noah Galvin, LaChanze, Ben Vereen, Peppermint, Sherri Shepherd, Tamron Hall, Common, Leslie Uggams, and writer Amber Ruffin.

Taylor Swift and Matty Healy‘s brief relationship is going to be examined again amid the release of her new album The Tortured Poets Department.
The Grammy-winning superstar dated Matty, the lead singer of The 1975, for just over a month back in spring 2023.
At the time, it appeared Taylor was having a rebound relationship following her breakup with longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn and fans were not happy about the new romance due to Matty‘s controversial past.

When the 34-year-old “Shake It Off” pop titan was named Apple Music’s Artist of the Year a few months ago, some of her friends spoke to the platform and revealed which of her iconic eras speaks to them the most.
Some of them, like Selena Gomez and Camila Cabello, simply hyped up their pal’s artistry.
“I think it’s pretty obvious why Taylor is the artist of the year. She has done so much for her community and fans,” Selena said about her bestie at the time.
