Lex Luthor's Tattoo

Here are some candid pictures I found floating around the Internet of Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) chillin' with a few female friends.  Anyone know what his left bicep tattoo says?   Smallville is all new this week with episode "Hypnotic" airring this Thursday @ 8PM ET/PT on the WB.  In this episode, Lex recruits Simone (Nichole Hiltz) to put Clark (Tom Wellling) under her "supernatural spell"  to reveal Clark's secrets and break Lana (Kristin Kreuk) and Clark up. Lex's plan backfires, however, and Simone then hypnotizes Clark and sends him to kill Lex. Dun dun dun.  Bigger pictures in the gallery!

Reese's Hair Rages On

London, UK :: Here are the latest pictures of actresses Reese Witherspoon, 29, and Christina Ricci, 25, filming modern day offbeat fable Penelope.  They filmed at the junction between Great Titchfield Street and Foley Street at the Crown and Sceptre pub.  For filming purposes, they renamed the pub Cloverdilly (pictured after the jump). Christina Ricci plays the lead role in Penelope, a woman born with the face of a pig (hence her face covered by her scarf) who tries to end her lifelong curse and find true love. Reese Witherspoon plays Penelope's BFF, Annie. More pictures in the gallery!

Brad Pitt is a Wingman

Cannes, France :: Donning his two-weeks-old "LFMD 131.57" hat and a black "La Madrugada" t-shirt, 42-year-old frequent flyer Brad Pitt, continued his aviation education in the South of France this past Friday at Avignon airport.  Brad took more flying lessons with his M. Night Shyamalan lookalike flight instructor in a single-engine Cirrus SR22 airplane. The rest of the Pitt family -- Angelina Jolie, 30, son Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 4, and daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 1 -- is still M.I.A.  More pictures in the gallery!

K-fed's Birthday Bash

Atlanta, Georgia :: Pop superstar Britney Spears, 24, and husband Kevin Federline, 28, made a Saturday night appearance at Vision Nightclub to celebrate Kevin's Birthday Bash and upcoming CD release. Vision booker Chris Kappy told a local newspaper, "It's unbelievable how high he ranked as a club draw. Kristin Kreuk Is Pakistani

23-year-old actress Kristin Kreuk, who plays Lana Lang on Smallville, is set to play a 17-year-old Muslim girl named Naseem Khan in Partition, a film about the division between Pakistan and India.  Neve Campbell, 32, also stars in this film and will play the passionate but lonely Margaret Stilwell, a woman who helps Gian Singh.  More pictures in the gallery! ¶ I haven't been too impressed with Kristin's acting in Smallville but I'm cautiously optimistic about her role in Partition (Release Date :: Tentative Spring 2006). Have you read the stink on Defamer about the questionable photo above?  People Magazine claims the TomKat photo is from Saturday, March 25th but the photo supposedly belongs to a set of photos from last Sunday, March 19th (bottom photo, to the right).  People is the go to magazine for a quick P.R. picker upper... Is People covering for Tom and Katie somehow?  Did Katie already gave birth and currently sporting a prosthetic belly for show?  What and who do you believe?

Keira Knightley's Piggy Bash

British actress Keira Knightley celebrated her 21st birthday bash at boutique club and lounge Glass last night.  It was packed wall-to-wall with her dressiest friends, including boyfriend and Pride & Prejudice co-star Rupert Friend.  I can't say I'm too fond of Keira's flapper-style look but I love the pig face masks Keira and her guests wore at the party. Bigger pictures in the gallery! ¶ Factory Girl is set for a September 2006 release and I simply cannot wait.  I'm just itching to see this movie. The video below is a collection of clips of the real-life Edie Sedgwick put to the tune of The Velvets' "After Hours." Check it out and compare it to Sienna Miller's look as Edie and let me know what you think. I think the Factory Girl set, costumes and casting are terrific.
