Angelina Jolie Leaves Hospital With Twins

Angelina Jolie has left the French hospital where she gave birth to twins last week.

The Lenval hospital in the southern French city of Nice said in a statement on its website: “Angelina Jolie left the clinic Santa Maria of Foundation Lenval around 4AM on July 19 with her babies, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. The mother and her babies are doing very well.”

The Fondation Lenval also thanked the Jolie-Pitts for choosing the hospital. It also thanked the hospital staff “for the attention and care they paid to the family and the journalists around the hospital who did their best to respect their privacy.”

No word on where Brad, Angelina, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne are headed to next…

I’m glad she’s going home, especially that she’s not going by helicopter. Given the intensity of the paps, I kept imagining them hiring copters too and being reckless and sloppy when it comes to getting ‘their paychecks’.

Great News - back home at last, and all together: one big happy family.
Angelina and Brad must be so very very excited to be going home to their beautifukl family with the new sister and brother of Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh. How very exciting for them all - terrible to say BUT wish i could be the “fly on the wall” to witness the joy there.
This day will surely be the most ‘touching’ EVER for all the Jolie-Pitts.
I do so hope that Angelina is able to keep resting during the following weeks to come - O so difficult for her with all the little ones clammering for her hugs and kisses.
I recall buying a king-size bed to accommodate my 2 daughters in with us during the night-times, but I guess Brad & Angelina will need a far wider bed than that to ensure no-one feels left out.
I’m so full of happiness for this wonderful faimily.

Good morning to the JP’s fans just checking for news of Angie and Brad. Jared thanks for the thread. Nelah, your posts are so cute, I do get hungry reading them lol. You should be a food critic Hi to MF, irma, anoble, vickifromtexas, alia, carolina, felinelily, dina#1, there are more of you just can’t list everyone I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. After reading the last thread and all the comments about Meryl Streep, question for PT, I don’t think my generation had any iconic actresses (like Hepburn, Taylor, Loren, Monroe etc.) maybe it skipped a generation? lol I figure if there are any you would know. I just can’t think of anyone who has what Angie has (beauty, a gorgeous movie star partner, good acting chops, children etc….) When I thought of Actresses in my age group the I could only think of Susan Sarandon, Meryl Streep and Julie Christie who was just resuscitated briefly last year. I do have CRS (can’t remember s*it) so thanks if you can recall anyone else
