Angie has a doctor with her should there be a pregnancy crisis and she can be air lifted to a hospital. Meanwhile, so that she has privacy and security while vacationing during her ninth month, local roads are blocked in a region where there are not many roads. How are the local pregnant women supposed to get help if they are in a crisis or simply go about their daily activities to eek out a living? Take lengthy detours while pregnant? In light of this, Angie's humanitarian activities are hypocritical. It's all vanity. She cannot have an ordinary pregnancy and she rationalizes it in the context of helping the world. She and Brad are just buying goodwill and good box office returns.

The staff probably asked the Pitt family to pose with them and used their own camera - probably a disposable one or a cheaper digital one, but who cares. I would love to have a picture with them myself. :)

Whatever they are selling, I am totally buying it. All of a sudden you care about pregnant African women. If you do, get off your critical pedestal and do something to make their lives easier. Untill you do that, you have not earned the right to criticize her actions in any African country she has been to. Sure you can criticize her movie or her relationships, but don't even pretend that you care about these women and their lives.

Great article. Kudos to US magazine. I hope some ne does not photoshop that Indian/African man out in between Brad & Angie just because they think it's cute.

I consider myself a citizen of the world and love the fact that an American would want her children to know, see & care as much of the world as possible. The children are priveledged because their parents have means like so many American upper class. But just because you don't come from a family of means, doesn't mean you have to be ignorant. There are many organizations to join or volunteer to help in a hands on way.

Brad probably never felt more "free" than being with Angelina. I love that he's so protective of her.

Has there ever been another woman who has managed to carry off a pregnancy looking this good? The only other woman who comes to mind is Princess Diana, I'm sure there must have been others but can't think of anymore at the moment. The amazing thing is Angelina is going around most of the time without any makeup, hair up in a bun, and old black clothes on and she still looks regal. Way to go!

I kind of look at this differently. Maybe B/A posed for them for the express purpose of knowing they'd be able to sell the photos? They've been around for a while now. They know as soon as they left the apt. that some tab would come snooping around looking for dirt or pictures. With the way the razzi have been hounding them all spring and making money off of them, why not let the people who've been working for them have a really big payday for a change? I think B/A are fully aware of how much money the razzi are making for photos of them. I remember back when they were in Canada last summer someone (non-razzi) rudely got in their faces and took a bunch of pictures, knowing they could bring in big money and then sold them for about $50,000. So if the apartment staff can make a little money, I doubt they're opposed to that.

Great family. I really admire angelina's effort to attract attention to Africa. This continent was basically negelect by rest of world. Think about. our US media seldom covered anything about Africa (until recently, the media starts picking up some coverages of Africa, thanks to Jolie, at least partially I think). As the superstar couple in the world at this moment, whereever they go, they'll certainly draw hugy attention to the place. Good for Africa!

Did anyone see the PBS special last night...

Yeah i saw it. The specail was really good and informing had no idea about vit A being able to prevent river blindness. Awesome peace all the way around. I found myself wanting to learn so I could help these people. Hell Im not rich but im pretty sure i have two cents to give out to help some of those kids.

You know, I of all people would love for this photo to be a real one but I think it's a little bit off due to the position of their necks. Why are their necks twisted like that? And the color of Brad's arms and Angelina's chest is off. Could it be the lighting?

It looks like Brad didn't only get a haircut but a refreshing facial. Shiseido is always sending me offers of a free facial for me and a friend. Maybe when Angelina posed for them, they gave them complimentary facials and other beauty products.
They sure look refreshed.

I keep reading that a lot of you feel like they are already married. I don't necessarily disagree, but what purpose would they have in keeping it a secret? It just seems like if they acknowledged it they would at least get those tabloid stories completely done with. Do you feel like they are keeping it to themselves until the appropriate time to announce it when someone else would benefit also, such as the pregnancy announcement in Haiti? Or do you just feel that they are considering it their own private business and feel no need to announce it at all?

They probably got married in Oct/Nov and wanted it to be for them. Plus, it's really no one's business unless they want to announce it.

Yes it is a photoshoped picture but since I'm a BAMZ+1 fan, I DON"T CARE. The picture is cool and I love how Anige looks pregnant. US Weekly is a crazy because they bitched at STAR magazine for photoshopping the Kenya photos after they had paid out 1,000,000 USdollars and now they're doing the same thing.

as I said yesterday, the photo is real, taken just days before leaving for Africa. Photos of BP pre haircut were before that. Again, as I said yesterday, they R married, quietly and without fanfare...they don't need nor wish for any publicity about their personal, intimate lives. They are honest and sincere and very, very humble.

Oh I miss Africa, and miss my family badly, though I just got back a few weeks ago. Stress level in Africa is minimal to none…though we have nothing, inwardly we are very happy, and I have come to realize that inner happiness is something you can’t trade for. Not even having all the riches in world can compare to the feel of inner happiness. I am happy they have found the calmness Africa offers. Some of you people need to travel around and see the other wonders of God’s creation and not just believe what the media tells you. Believing that Africa is all about wild life, diseases, poverty and Political struggle is so wrong! Trust me there is a better side of Africa you don’t see every day

The media just reused an old photo of the family. The one where Zahara is wearing the bandanna is when they were traveling from Paris to the South of France, I believe. The blogs and some magazines are just reusing the photo.

I love this family. And I have to admit,I too was on Google the other day looking for info regarding Namibia. I learned something that I didn't know last week. I LOVE that about them! LOVE THEM OR HATE THEM, they are the most fasicinated talked about couple and family!

Now the pic: What is up with her hair? It looks like she has pompadoo or something and Maddox looks like Michael Jackson. Brad does look HOT, but that's a given. Little Z is going to be GORGEOUS whe she grows up.

The most important thing is; they are a family, a beautiful family! Brad and Angie obviously love one another very much. I'm so glad that they were able to find one another. LIfe is way TOO short. I do too. I read somewhere (don't know how true it is) that celebrities lie about their due dates to throw off the papparazi. Basically tell them your due a few weeks before or after your actual due date to lessen the chance that they'll hound you during your final month. Not quite sure this works but... LOL

With Angelina and Brad's situation of being hunted by the paps
every seconds of their lives, I don't blame them if they decided
to go all the way to Namibia to have privacy and peace of mind.
I am sure that the ritual of birthing is very important to them. If
they are desperate for attention, they would let photographers in
their current lives. But they WON'T!!! They would talk to
reporters and be interviewed. But they WON'T!!!

I remembered there was an article around December 2005, it written about AJ was feeling sick and almost fainted at LA airport on the way to Japan for the premiere of MAMS....do you think that is when she find out about the pregnancy? because reading Lainey's archives article, she did mentioned that after they got off the plane in Japan, there was an agreement or a discussion regarding adopting Mad and Z.

My favorite part of the article is simply where Brad says he wants Angelina to be happy, I think he would do anything for her. You just know that he is so sweet and so kind. How could anyone possibly ever let this man go? I'm sure he must have some faults, but he seems like the perfect husband/boyfriend/partner/lover/daddy (take your pick).

I'm inclined to believe that they are married and just don't think it's anyone else's business. Why should they announce it just for the tabs benefit? Maybe they just think that if people can't accept them for who they are, then their being married isn't going to change anyone's opinion. The only thing that would change is that the detractors would start taking bets on when they'd divorce.

If they are married, it'll come out eventually. Until that happens at least they are able to maintain control some aspects of their life. They'll never be able to control what people are saying about them, but as long as they know the truth, no one else's opinion matters.

I couldn't resist and ran out to see the picture. Oh MY! Angie's face carrying Zahara is just pure bliss and Brad looking down at a sleeping Maddox in his arms is just beyond sweet and touching. It looks like Brad has a slight Mohawk or high and tight as they call it in the military. It just goes to show you how releaxed they are when the paps aren't in their faces or scaring the kids.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Angie's gonna give birth in early June....and i'll admit it, i thought yesterday's pic looked suspicious, but in light of how much more normal this one looks I'd have to say I think they're real. #114: Lynn, ITA with you there. He seems to be very indulgent with his women, but more so with Angelina I think because she's giving him more than any one else has ever done. It's not just the baby, it's also the liberating feeling from his old self that makes him more open to her.

I hope they continue to be together for a really really long time because they appear to be good for each other. They feed each others strength and doesn't take away what's good in one another. Sometimes one can sap the other's finer points because one lacks something or is weaker. I'm glad they seem to be equal and are non-competitive.

All pictures are real and not doctored. Believe what you'd like. The last photo taken of Brad with dark hair was on the 3rd of April leaving his apt. that was the same day Angelina had taken Maddox with her to a photoshoot. He retuned home with face and nail paint on. Pitt shaved his head, period. Of course those pics in the NYPost are real. They're from LDPImages a reputable photo agency. People need to just get a grip and face the reality of the past 15 plus months. They're together, they're having a baby and they're happy.

Dang it, reality always gets in the way. The pics look real to me, despite all the posts explaining why they're not real. I read those posts, I process and nope, they're real.

No, they are't look alikes. It's Brad and Angelina wit the kids and Angelina has pure bliss on her face hugging Zahara. The picture in color must be fabulous.

It's them and as heh said...the photo's are real and it's true. It's getting close to 2yrs and people need to move on. They're happy and in love, excited for their baby and their lives together. No one knows what the future is going to be but these people clearly are crazy about each other and their family.

Angie looks so happy in that front page photo. Brad's hair is the same as the ones Jared have on his site. So, these pics must be real then. Sorry for us doubting Thomases but glad to be proven wrong.

I don't think Brad likes his pics being taken. He's only doing it for Angelina so he appears too formal. It was the same case when they went to Lake Havasu, the first time Angie took him flying. She was happy to oblige everyone who wanted a pic and an autograph but Brad would pull her away cause it's time to go. Lola, I read that when they were first seen together on her plane. They landed at Lake Havasu, ate lunch at a local restaurant and then went to a resort spa where they stayed overnight, I think. That would be in July or August. There were no paps around so no photos of them except on the plane taking off. I can't remember where I read it but check out Ted C's columns or E-online. You could also google the Lake Havasu trip and maybe it will pop up. The ones who reported it were the local papers, I think as told by the ones who were lucky enough to run into the couple. They sure were happy to see them but no pics ever got published.

Alice - I say Brad on both counts.

In one photo Angelina had a really pretty skirt with boots on, too! She looked really pregnant. The photo with Brad and Maddox they had titled Nuturing Brad.

The stories about them were just beginning to gain momentum when they were caught on camera. There was a shared kiss inside the plane before take-off, I think.

The ones after that were reports of Angelina visiting BP at his Jesse James shoot and her blowing kisses at him on the sideline. I believe those were the days that preceded her pregnancy. By the time he was visiting her on her shoot, she was already preggers. They sure move fast and furious, don't they? No pussyfooting around!

Ted C, I think was talking about Brad doing a shoot and every time his phone would vibrate, they had to hold up the shoot cause he had to answer it and everybody knows it's Angelina. They were really unable to stay apart for too long. He had to rent a remote cabin in Canada for them to stay in while he was shooting. Okay, my ex-husband used to make fun of me for reading this, but does anyone else here at one time or another ever got hooked on those Mills & Boone or Regency novels? I used to devour those books like chocolates in my day so I see love through rose colored glasses. There were stories that I would read a chapter of and get quite turned off but there were authors that would really get to my sense of romantic notions.

The haters are right. The couple appeals to me like a really sweet romantic novel. There's thrills and spills and then there's the woman who tries to come between them. But all is good at the end because they beat the odds and stay together. They got me hooked!

It is clear in this picture: ANGELINA JOLIE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ON THE PLANET (BESIDES IMAN). WOW! CAN A HUMAN BE MORE BEAUTIFUL??? Oh My Goodness! You are looking at a bona Fide Mills & Boon Reader. When I came to th U.S I was quiet shocked when I couldn't find any then a nice librarian took pity on me and told me the Mills & Boon series were actually written as Harliquine for the American Audience. Whew. The only Historical books I read are by Judith McNaught, Jayne Anne Krentz Aka Amanda Quick. Contemporary books by Nora Roberts and Sandra Brown but she is a little Risque for me.

Those books helped me alor during all the moving from place to place. Even though I don't read M&B anymore, I still collect them. I have this fear that with all the tachnology, the world will wake up one day and found out there are no longer any books (lol). The basement is filled with boxes and boxes of books I have collected since I was ten. My mum has given up trying to get me to part with my books. You have no idea how sick it is, I go to the library just to smell the books....okay I need to stop now before I really give the haters the evidence they need to state we are all certifiably mad.

Pacific islanders, spaniard, african, and we're haitian, french, cuban, dominican, puerto rican. We have blondes, locks & dreads, straight black hair, afros, a couple of redheads with freckles even. We're mixed up wonderfully, and I never really thought that much about it but so many familys are this way anymore, and it's great.

Oh, my gosh Afrikan Girl, you just named my most favorite authors. Mills & Boon were English/Australian, I think. The Harlequins I've read those too. Do you like Joan Wolf? Mary Pershall is one of my favorite historical writers. Can't stand a weak woman as lead. Maybe that's why we like Angelina. She can fight but she can be soft and giving. Doesn't Aniston remind you of the villainous characters the leads have to contend with? Sly and manipulative.

Unfortunately, I went from romantic and historical to the suspense thrillers. I traded in my romantic leads for spies and detectives then to blogs. No more time for books but some novels do linger on in my mind. Still very much a romantic though

Hey, the baby is coming, so she have to vent out all her anxiety, I guess. She needs all the support because, the baby news is hurting her movie.

I cannot believe that so many of us have this in common. I guess birds of a feather do flock together, ha? Or is that too cliche? At any rate, we are all here and we like the same people, so why am I surprised. Now the haters can crow about this. But it just goes to show that when you read a lot, you're mind opens up to a lot. mouse, and I just wanted to let you know that it wasn't me, because
I would never say mean things like that. I guess it's just too hard to think of an original name because...because...well, I can't really think of a reason. And I guess "anony" was making a joke in the post, talking about how poor women "eek" out a living, not "eke"--I think it was joke because "eek" is what people say when they see a mouse, right? It couldn't possibly be just spelled wrong. No one is that dumb. Anyway, it's nice to see that cute picture of Brad, and that he is apparently still helping that beautiful dark-haired woman babysit her adorable children. God, they really look good together, all of them. And they look really happy. In fact..............Anyway, I'm still not reading much so I'm not sure who she is, but she's very pretty and looks very kind too. She doesn't look like she spends a lot of time in tanning salons or having pedicures. Or gambling in Las Vegas. No, none of mine, but that's in deep discussion, and I have a feeling that WILL be happening for us in the next year.

Two of my uncles were adopted as children but are of course adults now. Their parents were known to my fathers family, and when the mother/father were killed in a carwreck, the two sons were adopted by my grandparents.

My four cousins who were adopted were so into 4 different households. 1 is from Taiwan, 1 from the Philipines, 1 from Somali, and the last to this date is Afro American from Kentucky.

I'm suprised someone like Ophrah hasn't done a show on how 20/21st cent families have changed. How so many different cultures/ethnicities merged and put a different face on what a family now looks like. A funny story when i was a teen, one of my cousins who is strawberry blond/blue eyed were at an amusemet park. When it was time to get on the ride, the ticket taker stopped him because she thought he was trying to sneek on with me. I told her "he's my cousin! we're together." She looked at me like I had two heads! I'm obviously not white to her, but she doesn't really know WHAT I am, and it was so funny the look on her face. We still laugh about it and it happenend 20yrs ago. LOL!

It's more like a Marine cut. There's hardly anything on the side, but there's that "island" (for want of another way to help get the visual) at the top of his head that seems to be just from the crown to the forehead, and again, short on the sides. I just watched Extra when he was playing baseball with Maddox in front of the resort they are staying at on the beach. He does not have mohawk, he has a crew cut. I hope that video is posted somewhere soon :-)

THat is not a mohawk in the NY Post. That is a hifh and tight. A Militarry high and tight is a military hair cut where the hair is semi-full on the top and down the sides . The rest of the hair is b shaved very close. A mohawk is where the hair is only full in the center of the top of the hair. The hair in the center is much longer than the military high and tight in the center. The rest of the hair is very short in a mohawk.

The photo Jared posted and the NY post is definatly a military high and tight. Notice the buzzed cut except on the top where the hair isw a couple inches in lenght. That is a High and tight.

Chrissy, Extra just showed Brad and Maddox playing baseball catch on the beach in Namibia and he definitely had a small mohawk, there was no doubt about it. What is really strange is the picture above certainly doesn't look like he has one. How is that possible? We need to put a BAMZ investigator on this right away.

Alicia, love the idea of other celeb kids! I agree Madonna's and Gwyneth's kids would be good, and doesn't Matt Damon have an adopted child with his new wife? The child was hers, she was a single mom, and he adopted the child, who was a bit older than Maddox, when they married. I think Reese & Ryan's kids might work, because they are intelligent young people who avoid the Hollywood scene. And Demi Moore's older girls can babysit! I also think Uma Thurman's kids would probably be really cool and really well-educated and worldly.

Something else the different television reports said. They talked about a sanctury for oprhaned animials that Angelina Jolie is said to be the only patron, and that she's donated $700,000.00 too.

When she went to the Witness?? and the pap's were off the hook! We didn't know she was yet pregnant (but she did because I think it was in Dec). They had her cornered like an animal, and I remember being so angry! Then when I found out she was pregnant, I thought back and I felt so bad for her. I also remembered thinking that Brad was more than likely crazed when he saw that. She kept clutching her coat to her, and she looked so pitiful. Even the bodyguards were having trouble, and Angelina is heard yelling to the pap's to please line up. She was a champ, and a pro all the way for that bunch of @ssholes.

I think Gwyneth and Brad have become friendly. After all, one of her closest friends is Madonna, and Guy Ritchie is one of his closest friends, and they were quite normal and friendly at their wedding. They both have dated and married at least two people each since their youthful time together.

Most of Angie's friends are not celebs, but healthcare workers and other normal people. I'm sure she has some friends with kids for hers to play with and further keep Mad and Z and Baby Brangelina grounded in the real world!

Has anyone else found it odd that Mia Farrow's name has not been mentioned during this whole Brangelina media frenzy? She was the original adopting mother, taking in needy children from all over the world, and had 14 by the time she adopted her last one. I wonder if she has influenced Angie at all. Both are so private that it wouldn't surprise me if they were friendly when they are both in New York, and no one knows about it. Mia Farrow, like Angie, cares a great deal about children's issues, and walked her talk. She is kind, and very smart, and I can see her being like an "aunt" type figure for Angie to talk to about issues that are important to her.

Good point #293 about the past history between Brad and Gwyn, but who knows....as far as the other celebs that makes so much sense, its like 6 degrees of separation---well, er, more like one degree cuz they all know each other. Hey movie fan, actually Josephine Baker was the first high profile entertainer to adopt her "rainbow tribe". 12 children from all continents. It actually contributed to the end of her last marriage however. One of her adopted sons runs a famous French restaurant here in NYC called Chez Josephine. The restaurant is a tribute to his late African American/French citizen mother. He's quite the character.

Attention west coast BAMZ+1 fans. Wath the Insider & ET tonight. They have the exclusive pic of BAMZ and an airstrip in Namibia. Angie is hugging Zahara with a HUGE smile on her face, Brad has a military hair cut and was holding Maddox. GREAT!

I have never ever encountered this rich of diversity in any of the forums I've been in my Internet life. Certainly, I've come across many Asians as I used to hang out in Asian sites. But I've never been anywhere with a congregation of African citizens (though I've met quite a few in my real life) or African emigrants and Caribbeans, to go with the Europeans, Americans and Asians. Only issues with Brad and Angelina on the cover. I cannot resist, and these things can be expensive! mills and boon??? count me in...i love reading them...they are mushy lovey stories but good for escapism....lol....love those books...but i graduated from them..i am now into thicker love/funny/romantic novels with steamy scene of course...lol...like rica's and ea's fanfics...he! he!....books written by authors such as christine feehan (vampire erotic love story...lol), erin mccarthy and vickie lewis thompson (funny writers), lori foster, linda howard, diana palmer, stephanie laurens, lisa kleypas, ...etc....i also love adventure/fictions written by these fiction writers such as tom clancy, clive cussler, frederick forsythe, stephen coonts, jon land, douglas preston and lincoln child, james rollins, robert ludlum to name a few...sorry...but i love reading...i spend more money buying books than clothes or shoes....if new books written by my favorite authors are out....man...i am in the bookstore and buy them or just read the whole thing at the bookstore...he! he!...or just spend my whole saturday at the library....but i cut back in reading these books coz now i go to school full time and of course i come to jj's and talk to my bamz+1 friends to relieve stress from working full time and at the same time going to school at night full time...so being pathetic by spending my free time here at jj's like the naysayers/haters say is fun...don't you think so??

I'm retreating and going back to stating that those pictures are fake. I took a second look at the second picture and both Brad's and Angie's heads looked planted atop the necks. There is something awkward about the placement. Secondly, look at the the peekaboo of the chest of the supposed Brad atop the crewneck of his t-shirt. It looks like spray of hair overflowing. Brad doesn't have that hairy of a chest, as is evident in MAMS. Though he may have waxed or shaved his chest in Thelma & Louise, he didn't apppear to do that in MAMS. You could still see he had a bit of chest hair in it.

Anyhow, Angie is rarely without her gold bangles. And she typically wears her ring on the middle finger of her right hand, not the ring finger.

It doesn't matter as this isn't the determination of if the world is still flat. Then, I'll have to go to town on the folks who still believe that. And I have a funny suspicion some of the haters actually believe it, too.

I saw the pictures of them in African as shown on Entertainment Tonight and Extra. They all look very content and together in good moods. They also seemed relaxed without having to put their guard up, which is nice. So Africa is wearing well on them.

I have to admit that I have never heard of Mills and Boon myself but I am a huge BOOK WHORE (yes sorry had to use that word). I read any sort of fiction. Something fun like Jasper Fforde (Eyre Affair), something sad (Tess of the D'Urberville), some chick-lit (Sushi for Beginners), some mystery (The Moonstone), something psychological (Madness of a Seduced Woman), and some books from those authors you listed. I once wanted to work at a bookstore just so that I could buy books on a discount and I hate to wait for my books to become available at the library. My last book that I read was The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. I recommend it, but admittedly, the second-half of the book is not as good as the first half. For me coming to blogs and places like this is not about relieving stress, I just like to! I don't have any excuses and frankly, I don't need one. So those people who say otherwise can just stuff it because I don't care what other people think.

Oh...I have all her books too from Costco...I think the books are better than the movies...( I know, I should duck with you...lol)..oh, the Da Vinci Code is in paper back now, I have to go get it for my sister before the movie....she refused to read hard back...to heavy...she said.

Regarding Pink on Oprah. That is not true. Pink made a comment that she asked her friends to name 5 people near her age who were smart and they couldn't name them off hand. Then Pink listed off a few people. She said, "Reese Withersppon, Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman" and then she continued what she was saying. She was talking and audience and Oprah was listening. I didn't detect any silence of any sort. Maybe Oprah wanted to interject at one point though, but I don't think it had anything to do with the mention of Angelina.

Oprah must have been conjuring and scrounging up a profound line from Maya Angelou she could impart to the audience, so her audience can clap crazily like performing seals. Sorry, I can't help it on Oprah.

I'm not particularly a fan of Pink, but I like where her head is at (ugggh, a Vince Vaughn phrase). I like that she skewers the truly ridiculous celebrities (as opposed to Michael Douglas' desperate thrashings) for their absurdities and she's not bound to the superficial constraints and indulgences of celebritydom.

Hi Ladeet. Salinger! One of my top 3 favorite authors. It was banned during the 60s by a group of parents who considered it obscene because of what they considered to be a lack of morals contained within its pages and for its vulgarity. That would be the gist of it.

Sorry I wasn't around to hypnotize you back to sleepiness, as I had to step away. Anyhow, I'm hesitant to reveal this, but the first time I had that image of clapping seals was for me. When I think something is hysterically funny, I will either laugh so hard my stomach hurts or laugh and clap my hands silly as a hungry seal waiting for her next sardine. (It's a good thing African Girl doesn't have that problem or else her work colleagues will think she's step-dancing in her office. There will be no explaining to get her out of that behavior.)

When I watch MTV's Wild 'n Out, I'm often laughing as I'm clapping my hands. Oftentimes, they come up with the funniest comeback lines. (Sorry to say, I have no use for those lines here.)

But Oprah's audience takes the cake. I frequently wonder if those women ever watch themselves on tv to see how they act. They're like teeny boppers on Coca-Cola adrenaline.

I'm still on night watch and it sucks. Nobody is around and I don't even have my friend, malaya around. Ah well....

It's so sad! Can you imagine having her whole existence revolve around one person? Whenever a female in my family is getting married, my grand mother always doles out this advise "Love your husband but don't lose your own identity". There is a tendency for women to become too happy just to be known as so so person's wife. We all pray to have a long lasting relationship but be ready for any surprises. I've seen many women who have lost their whole existence in a relationship. I can't understand that. Be your own person, we all had lives before marriage, why should that end after? On a little level, I think that's what I am most afraid of about getting married. Will this me stop existing to be taken over by the Me who is someone else's wife? Ahhh, to early for this isn't it?

I've come over from my thread because I only have sixty posts and BAMZ have over 400. It's not fair! And most of them hate me! What a WONDERFUL grandmother you have! A grandmother like that, no wonder you are enlighted. You are very lucky.

I for one, gave up my job in NYC and moved to France when we were first married, since his career at that stage was more crucial at that time (he had to get what they call in France "titulariser"-tenure). Then a few years later, a job opprtunity came for me back in NYC, so he gave up his job in France and found one here in NYC. We didn't have children then, but we chose to be together by compromising for our marriage, and it was mutual.

That's why I don't buy JA's claim "man wanting career never gets criticized", as if she is a champion of women with career. That's why it's my opinion that JA didn't care for Brad and his needs.

Today(like everyday) I was reading one of my newspaper(NYpost) and Cindy Adams had an interview with Jon Voight, he is shooting a movie in NY. So anyway,she asked about Angelina relation status, he said " Best not to discuss it". Then he said " I don't want to widen har pain or mine" , then " but I was a good father", and then he said " Breaking up my marriage is the regret of my life". He was sayig that Angelina is dealing with he succes in Hollywood on a diff. way than most stars. That she has a found a way to get out of the excesses.

I love this couple. They mind their business and follow their hearts , despite what everyone else thinks. Plus they CARE about the rest of the world, unlike most of their other famous counterparts.
