Katie Holmes takes her daughter Suri, 2, for a quick shopping trip at The Grove’s American Girl store in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon.

Katie was also accompanied by her mother, Kathleen, who helped carry her daughter’s purse and Suri’s milk bottle.

It was a great mother-daughter day for Tom Cruise’s leading ladies!

Katie just wrapped up filming her cameo for ABC’s hit drama, Eli Stone, with series regular Jonny Lee Miller.

Mom-to-be Jennifer Garner and daughter Violet Affleck party it up at a friend’s birthday party in Santa Monica, Calif., on Saturday.

The 36-year-old actress’ pregnancy was confirmed by former Alias co-star Victor Garber through Us Weekly. No official word from Jen or Ben’s publicists, however.

The former Daredevil star told Marie Claire last fall that she was looking forward to a second child, saying, “We definitely wonder what it would be like to have another — hopefully, knock on wood, someday. My job is great to have as a mom. I get to take breaks and then work in a really concentrated way. During that concentrated time, it sucks, but whatever.”

Angelina Jolie has left the French hospital where she gave birth to twins last week.

The Lenval hospital in the southern French city of Nice said in a statement on its website: “Angelina Jolie left the clinic Santa Maria of Foundation Lenval around 4AM on July 19 with her babies, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. The mother and her babies are doing very well.”

The Fondation Lenval also thanked the Jolie-Pitts for choosing the hospital. It also thanked the hospital staff “for the attention and care they paid to the family and the journalists around the hospital who did their best to respect their privacy.”

No word on where Brad, Angelina, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne are headed to next…

New father Keith Urban, aka Nicole Kidman’s husband, just wrote a little note on his official website about his baby girl.

He writes, “It’s been 10 days since the birth of our beautiful new daughter, Sunday Rose, and like any of you who are parents yourselves, we’re experiencing the pure bliss of welcoming her into our lives. We’re all doing superbly well and we continue to be absolutely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and well wishes we are receiving. Thank you all for your beautiful notes and prayers. I can’t wait for Saturday night’s stadium show in Philadelphia, my first gig as a father! See you there. Love, Keith.”

The Jolie-Pitt baby pictures aren’t available yet but celebrities are sending their well wishes anyway to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon.

Angie’s costar from her upcoming movie, The Changeling: “I saw [Angie] with kids on-set and she’s just such a wonderful mom. You see her with the kids and it’s like, ‘Yeah, that’s the way it’s supposed to be.’”

Earlier today, Angie’s older brother, James Haven, was spotted visiting the five-day-old twins at Nice’s Hospital Lenval.

David Beckham drives two of his sons home after dinner at Madeo restaurant in Los Angeles on Tuesday, around 11PM PST. Brooklyn, 9, sat shotgun while Cruz, 3, took a nap in the backseat.

The 33-year-old soccer star just blogged about his family being completely settled in L.A. Here’s what he had to say: “It seems like only a few weeks ago I arrived in Los Angeles with my family ready for the next chapter in our lives. A year later and we feel so settled here, everyone loves California and everyone has made us feel so welcome. I can’t imagine being anywhere else in the world right now. Of course, I’m enjoying playing my soccer too.”

Fantastic actress Jessica Alba, who gave birth to daughter Honor Marie Warren 5 1/2 weeks ago, opens up to OK! Magazine about being a new mom. Here’s what she had to say:

On her natural, hypnobirthing delivery: “I didn’t scream. It was really Zen. The labor was more like meditation. I did yoga breathing. I was focused.” (Cash marveled at his wife’s quiet strength when she gave birth, adding, “She didn’t make a sound. It was amazing.”)

On Honor bringing so much joy to her life: “It hasn’t totally sunk in. She dreams, she smiles, and coos and does all these things, but she hasn’t seen enough of the world yet to understand any of that stuff. So I still feel like she’s connected to the other world, or something. There’s no other way to explain it. It’s a miracle.”

On getting her post-baby body in shape: “”I started working out last Thursday, but for 20 minutes. I do cardio on my own. I’m doing it slow. Now I’m starting to eat more healthy. Because after working out, having fried chicken and mashed potatoes is a little counteractive.”

Pierce Brosnan pays a visit to FAO Schwarz toy store with his two sons, Dylan Thomas, 11, and Paris Beckett, 7, in New York City on Tuesday.

Both Dylan and Paris picked out brand spanking new skateboards.
