Emmy Rossum is all smiles at the Alberta Ferretti US flagship store opening on Melrose in LA on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old singer/actress wore a Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti royal blue single strap silk and chiffon dress and Alberta Ferretti purple rose satin shoes to the flagship boutique opening.

Lucy Liu, Ali Larter, Amy Smart, and Marisa Tomei all came out to the event as well.

Emmy Rossum (in Temperley London) helps launch the book party for Matthew Rolston’s “beautyLIGHT” at the Wallis Annenberg Cultural Center on Monday in Beverly Hills.

Also in attendance were Martha Stewart, Carla Gugino, Rose McGowan, and Christina Aguilera. The event was presented by Louis XIII Black Pearl de Rémy Martin.

Rossum, 22, can be seen next year in Dragonball, which just changed its release date to April 8, 2009. The live-action film adaptation Dragonball will also star Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, and Chow Yun-Fat.

Emmy Rossum has kindly shared some pictures from her birthday weekend on her blog. (She turned 22 this past Friday.) Here’s what the Dragonball actress wrote:

“So much to tell you, sorry I’ve been crazy busy the last few days, running around, celebrating my birthday, and running in (and singing the National Anthem for) the Susan G Komen race for the cure on Sunday in Central Park. Wanted to share with you some pics from my bday dinner, it was very very fun, just a bunch of family and friends (no crazy party at a nightclub!), and a LOT of food – I mean, almost 3 pieces of gluten free white chocolate mouse cheesecake! I love bdays, I wish I could celebrate them for the whole month. I ate cupcake topping at 10am, tasti-d-lite at noon, caramel popcorn all afternoon and then the cake after dinner. Phewf! It was an eating marathon. I felt kind of like Takeru “Tsunami” Kobayashi who holds the world record for eating all those hotdogs! Here are some pics of the bday girl! Excited much? The actress pair glowed as they sat front row at the 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2009 fashion show.

Emmy Rossum is va-va-voom in Paige Black Label Premium Denim at the Launch Party for the New BlackBerry 8330 Pink Curve on Wednesday at the Intermix boutique in Los Angeles. The new Blackberry is exclusively from Verizon Wireless and the launch was also the 15th Anniversary of Intermix.

20th Century Fox will be introducing the first trailer of Emmy’s new movie, DragonBall, when their video game adaptation Max Payne debuts in theaters tentatively on October 17. The live-action adaptation of Akira Toriyama’s famous Japanese manga is set to open April 10, 2009.

Emmy Rossum is all smiles at the L.A. launch party for PiNKiTUDE at Zune LA on Thursday.

The 21-year-old singer/actress wore a beautiful asymmetrical frock by Carmen Marc Valvo) and accessorized with Jimmy Choo’s “Epsie” gold sandals, Cecile’s crystal mesh clutch and Cartier jewels.

The PiNKiTUDE brand initiative is devised to educate young women and teens on the importance of breast self-awareness, early detection and treatment of breast cancer while also stressing the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Emmy recently was named the official spokesperson of PiNKiTUDE, and even wrote a song for the cause called “Why Oh Why.”

A minimum of 5% of the revenues generated by PiNKiTUDE will be donated to breast cancer organization Susan G Komen for the Cure.

Emmy Rossum has been named the official spokesperson of PiNKiTUDE, a new cause sharing life saving breast health messages with young women everywhere. The 21-year-old actress/singer even wrote a song for the cause called “Why Oh Why”.

“As a young woman whose family has personally been affected by breast cancer, I am grateful for the opportunity to help raise awareness of this disease by sharing my ‘PiNKiTUDE’ with young women everywhere,” Emmy said. “I hope to inspire women like myself to practice breast self-awareness and to encourage them to live a healthy lifestyle. I am proud to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure and their promise to end breast cancer forever.”

“PiNKiTUDE is an innovative program merging the power of two very dynamic brands: MGM and Susan G. Komen for the Cure,” said Hala Moddelmog, president and CEO, Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The campaign will launch tomorrow, August 14th with a star-studded event at Club Lounge 7 in Los Angeles.
