Earlier in the day, Jessica spent some time working out at the gym, and then headed over to Glic Music Studio in West Hollywood.

“I think any person who I’m gonna date for longer than six months, I definitely am investing in something long-term,” Jessica said in her interview with Cosmopolitan. “If I get married again, then it will be the last time.”

Check out this sneak peek of Jessica Simpson’s new Macy’s commercial, which she shot back in July.

People reports the TV commercial is part of the Macy’s Believe ad campaign, which will launch Monday. Other commercials will feature design stars like Martha Stewart, Carlos Santana, Donald Trump, Tommy Hilfiger and Kenneth Cole.

Macy’s stores also will host “Believe Stations,” which will receptacles for letters to Santa. Macy’s has pledged to give a dollar for every such letter — up to $1 million — to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Jessica Simpson and BFF/hairdresser Ken Paves leave together after having dinner at Madeos restaurant in West Hollywood, on Sunday.

Ken tried to protect Jessica from photographers, but ended up getting struck in the face by a photographer’s camera. Jessica then had to drive him to Cedar-Sinai in West Hollywood for stitches.

Jessica’s latest movie, Major Movie Star will be released on DVD as Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous, available in stores on February 3, 2009.

Pop-turned-country-singer Jessica Simpson celebrates 150 years of fabulous shopping at Macy’s famous 34th street location in New York City Tuesday night.

Simpson, 28, kept warm on the red carpet in a cozy grey fur-collared wrap. She apparently arrived to the event late and skipped out on a date night with boyfriend Tony Romo.

Other Macy’s-loving stars joining her at the Gotham city gala included Eva Mendes, designers Tommy Hilfiger and Kenneth Cole, domestic diva Martha Stewart, chefs Ming Tsai and Todd English, and New York’s own Big Bird and Elmo.

Jessica Simpson gave her very first media interview to Popstar! Magazine back in March 1999 and we’ve got some juicy quotes from that interview, which took place almost a decade ago. Here’s what the pop-turned-country singer, now 28, had to say:

On when she realized she excelled at singing: “That happened when I was 12 years old. Um, I went to the finals for The Mickey Mouse Club along with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake and JC—a lot of the people who are out now—I went to the finals with them and we hung out for a week. We worked on our stuff together. And then when we went for the final audition, I totally froze because I watched everybody perform and when I got up to do it I froze, so…I didn’t make it! But that’s when I really knew that it was something that I wanted to do because I absolutely fell in love with it.”

On how the Mickey Mouse Club try-outs went: “We got in groups and we all had to go with an acting coach, a vocal coach and a dance choreographer and we were there for like a week and a half. We each worked on a monologue and a song and a dance. We all learned the same thing. I was actually in a group with Justin Timberlake! [laughs] Yeah, I know, it’s kinda weird! It’s so weird that all the Mickey Mouse Club people are coming out. I had absolutely no experience going in there. I walked in and I sang ‘Amazing Grace’ a cappella and like Justin had already won Star Search and Britney had been in Off-Broadway stuff and I was just a little minister’s kid walking in singing ‘Amazing Grace.’ It was intimidating, it was really intimidating.”

On trying to decide what her stage name would be: “Well, I’m goin’ by Jessica. I think I’m just goin’ by Jessica. I don’t think we’ve figured that out yet—it’s either Jessica or Jessica Simpson!”

On staying a virgin until marriage: “Definitely my favorite song on the album is the one that I wrote. It’s called ‘Heart of Innocence.’ And it’s about me saving myself for my husband. And it has a really cool story behind it. I hadn’t had a boyfriend in like a year and I was writing in my journal—’cuz I write in my journal all the time—and I was upset and I was praying and I was like, ‘God, I really need you to be my companion right now.’ I fell asleep when I was writing in my prayer journal and then I woke up in the middle of the night and God was like, ‘Write a letter to your husband,’ and I was like, ‘I’m not gonna write a letter to my husband!’ And I did, and that’s the song, that’s ‘Heart of Innocence.’”

On how the interview ended: “That was my first interview!”

Jessica Simpson arrives at the Dallas, Texas airport on Oct. 9 after spending some time with her boyfriend, Tony Romo.

“I’d love six kids running around, but I guess I’ll have to start pretty soon,” she recently told The Daily Telegraph in an interview.

“This album has been a journey of discovery. When you go through a divorce, you become numb,” Jessica said. “This album was a therapeutic experience.”

“It’s a beautiful relationship,” Jessica said of her relationship with Tony. “He’s everything I could dream of and I really love him. I’m proud to be his girlfriend.”

Jessica Simpson was spotted leaving Madeos restaurant in West Hollywood a little disoriented after having dinner with a friend on Thursday night.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson were in Neiman Marcus in Dallas checking out engagement rings, reports the Chicago Sun-Times.

Jessica and Tony have been dating since November last year, and now there are rumors of a wedding this winter.
