Paris Hilton just updated her blog to give us an update on what she’s been up to all summer long. Here’s a snippet of her post:

“Hope you’re all having a wonderful summer. This is actually the first summer where I didn’t just lounge around in St. Tropez or a private beach somewhere–I didn’t take a vacation this summer because it’s been non- stop work.

“I’ve been shooting the show, editing it, traveling to Europe to promote my handbag line and fragrance, designing my fall collection for my shoes and clothing line, and working in my studio on a new album. So professionally its been a very successful and productive summer. My favorite part of the summer has been the time I’ve gotten to spend on tour with my love Benj We always have the best time together and he’s played some shows in some pretty rad places: Orlando for example, so we got to go to Disney World, which is always a blast! He’s such an amazing boyfriend and so talented too…I love watching him perform on stage, so hot! Loves it!

“Life couldn’t be better; I have a great boyfriend and a new best friend. I’m so excited to announce that I’ve wrapped taping of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. I’ve been LOVING every moment in the editing room, and am sitting there literally in tears, every day, laughing so hard at all the priceless moments from the footage. Also I’m thinking that a lot of the crazier scenes might just end up on the DVD….there is so much footage and even though some will be edited out as all shows must do, I want you to be able to see it and laugh as much as I have been! ;)”

Paris Hilton’s My New BFF premieres @ 10PPM ET/PT on Tuesday, September 30th on MTV.

Paris Hilton sports a sparkly choker and detailed dress straps as she arrives at the grand opening of the Apple Lounge in West Hollywood on Thursday.

The 27-year-old heiress now has some legal trouble after being sued for not honoring her contract to promote the 2006 film, National Lampoon’s Pledge This! She was allegedly hired to promote the film for $1 million, however, according to attorney Michael Goldberg, she “failed to attend any talk shows or telephonic or in-person interviews.”

Last week, Republic presidential candidate John McCain likened Democratic presidental candidate Barack Obama to celebrities Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. McCain campaign strategist Steve Schmidt said, “It’s beyond dispute that [Obama] has become the biggest celebrity in the world. But do the American people really want to elect the biggest celebrity in the world?”

Paris’s rep released this statement in response to the ad: “Miss Hilton was neither asked, nor did she give permission, for the use of her likeness in the ad, and has no further comment.” (Watch the commercial here.)

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden do their part for the environment and get around in a hybrid SUV as they go shopping at DCMA and Fred Segal in West Hollywood on Monday.

Benji has apparently been a good influence on the hotel heiress as she recently said, “I just feel like a grown-up now. I think my whole life I was kind of living as a teenager and not really taking responsibility. We’re so in love and so happy right now and it’s only been six months. I finally have a nice guy!”

Paris Hilton running errands and buys some Chinese food in Sunset Plaza and London Hotel in West Hollywood on Thursday.

The 27-year-old hotel heiress has made an “extremely generous” personal gift to support the construction of the New Hospital Building at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.

“The children I have met through my involvement with Childrens Hospital have truly touched my heart,” Paris said in a statement. “I am proud to make a donation and lend my name to the fundraising effort to help children who are facing terribly serious illnesses.”

Her gift will be directed toward the New Hospital Building Campaign for construction of the new space for children being treated at the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases in the New Hospital Building.

Paris Hilton just updated her blog, giving fans updates about her new reality TV show, Paris Hilton’s My New Best Friend, and the love of her love, Benji Madden. Check it:

“Hey everyone! It’s been a little while since I last checked in. I’ve been so busy shooting my new show. It’s been quite the experience, these people are amazing! Everyone of the contestants is very special in there own way. We are having the best time, it’s been so much fun to meet such interesting characters. We’ve gone on some crazy adventures together. I even brought some of the contestants on trips with me to Japan and Las Vegas within the past 2 weeks. It’s been a blast! It’s so much fun to take your friends to places they’ve never been and show them experiences they’d never even think of. It’s quite a site and its going to be an amazing show and I’m so happy and thrilled with what’s happening everyday. But not everything is all fun and games, they’ve been through some very brutal challenges, so I give them major props!! I still can’t believe some of the things I’ve seen them do, quite shocking! But also very entertaining. And yes of course there’s drama sometimes, but that’s what happens when you stick a bunch of fun, crazy girls together in a house together. The only part I hate about the show is doing the eliminations, it is so hard for me. And it gets harder every time cause these past few weeks I’ve really became close with all of them and it’s hard to have to let them go. It’s actually very emotional, everyone is pretty upset every time we have to do one. But even though at the end of this I can only choose one of these people to be my best friend, I know in my heart that I’ve met some people on the show that I’ll be friends with for a lifetime. I love them all and I can’t wait for you all to see the madness!! But you’ll have to wait till September when it airs on MTV.
