Scruffy Colin Farrell looks a little worse for wear as he leaves his hotel for a an early morning shoot for the upcoming film Triag‘ in Alicante, Spain on Friday.

In the film, the 31-year-old Irish actor plays Mark, a war photojournalist dealing with the memories of his time in Kurdistan. Spanish actress Paz Vega plays his girlfriend, Elena, who sets out to discover why Mark came home from a recent assignment without his colleague.

Colin Farrell attends the New York screening of his new film Cassandra’s Dream hosted by The Cinema Society and DKNY Jeans at NYC’s Tribeca Grand Screening Room on Tuesday.

Cassandra’s Dream is the tale of two brothers (Farrell and Ewan McGregor) with serious financial woes. When a third party proposes they turn to crime, things go bad and the two become enemies. The film was shot back in July 2006 and August 2006.

Colin Farrell promotes Abrakebabra (Ireland’s premier fast food chain) for Childline Day on Wednesday in Dublin, Ireland.

On Sunday, all of the 60 Abrakebabra outlets nationwide will celebrate its 25th anniversary and will donate every cent it makes to the Childline charity between midday and 7pm.

Colin’s new comedy In Bruges will also be opening up this year’s Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on Jan. 17, 2008. The film is about two hit men (Farrell and Brendan Gleeson) from Bruges, Belgium. The pair begin to differ on their views of life and death as they become used to local customs.

Colin, 31, also recently spoke out about his special-needs 4-year-old son James.

James was born with a rare form of cerebral palsy called Angelman Syndrome (AS), “a rare neuro-genetic disorder named after a British paediatrician, Dr. Harry Angelman, who first described the syndrome in 1965. AS is characterized by intellectual and developmental delay, speech impediment, sleep disturbance, unstable jerky gait, seizures, hand flapping movements, frequent laughter/smiling and usually a happy demeanor.”

Despite the heartbreak the syndrome has caused, Colin said that he is “incredibly blessed to have him in my life.”

Colin Farrell carries his young son James, 3 1/2, through LAX airport on Friday afternoon in Los Angeles, Calif.

Last weekend, the Irish actor made a trip out to Las Vegas with his girlfriend of six months, Muireann McDonnell, a medical student from Dublin.

Colin, 31, and Muireann, 22, were spotted smooching in their hotel pool on and dined at Morton’s steakhouse. The couple also caught the Cirque du Soleil shows O and Love.

He also recently wrapped the drama Pride and Glory with Edward Norton.

Colin Farrell takes his son James, 3 1/2, and rushes into a doctor’s office accompanied by his son’s nanny. After the medical visit, the nanny carried temper-tantrum-throwing James out of the doctor’s office without Colin.

James‘ mother is American model Kim Bordenave, whom Colin has since separated from. The A-list actor recently moved on to medical student Muireann McDonnell, 22, who spent weeks in Europe earlier this year to be with Colin and James.
