The 40-year-old British actor reportedly wants the next Bond movie to be much steamier. Craig has heard complaints from fans that Bond’s bedroom antics haven’t been a focus of the new movies, so he has decided to push for the scenes. Craig said, “For Bond to jump in bed with ten women would contradict the whole things. But the next movie - everybody wants it so we’re going to have it.”

Quantum of Solace was No. 2 at the box office this past weekend with final ticket sales of $26.7 million, behind Twilight which brought in $69.6 million.

Daniel Craig and girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell take the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Institute benefit screening of Quantum of Solace at New York City’s AMC Lincoln Square theater on Tuesday night.

Joining the couple on the red carpet: Debra Messing, Becki Newton, Julia Stiles and Molly Sims. Everyone headed to Tavern on the Green afterwards — complete with signature Bond Smirnoff cocktails (Smirnoff sponsored the event).

Other pictures include Daniel and Satsuki attending the Quantum of Solace premiere at the Palau de las Arts in Valencia, Spain last Thursday.

The latest Bond movie (finally) opens in U.S. theaters nationwide this Friday.

The 40-year-old British actor, who rocked out a Burberry ensemble, has been dating film producer Satsuki Mitchell for several years. He tends to see flaws in his Bond work, but Satsuki is still impressed. “I’m looking at myself and say, ‘I got away with that … I didn’t get away with that … I kinda got away with that.’ My girlfriend is more than forgiving,” he tells USA Today with a laugh.

Daniel Craig holds onto girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell at the premiere of the latest James Bond film, Quantum Of Solace, at the Warner Village Moderno Cinema on Wednesday in Rome, Italy.

A set insider recently revealed that Craig, 40, was no fan of continental breakfasts on set, adding: “He loves bacon sarnies.” Bacon sandwiches???

Daniel Craig and Bond girl costar Olga Kurylenko hype up their new 007 movie, Quantum Of Solace, at the St. Regis Grand Hotel on Wednesday in Rome, Italy.

There, Craig, 40, sang the praises of Barack Obama, America’s president-elect.

“If we can have a black U.S. president we can have a black James Bond,” he said. “This is as significant as when man landed on the moon. The Obama election is a wake up call for the whole world.

Craig added, “I’m a real fan of Obama because I like his political ideas. And I think it’s the right moment for a black James Bond.”

As of today, Quantum has received a decent 74% from RottenTomatoes.com. The site sums up the film, saying, “Brutal and breathless, Quantum Of Solace delivers tender emotions along with frenetic action.”

Daniel Craig heats up the Paris premiere of Quantum of Solace at UGC Normandie on Thursday in France.

On his arm was longtime girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell, who wore a strapless gown with gorgeous ruching at the bust.

“[Quantum is] a good follow up, it’s not a great follow up,” film critic Olly Richards said. “Casino Royale was this complete invention and just surprised everyone. … This goes slightly more traditional with the story — you’ve got someone trying to take over the world with a very bizarre plot that you can’t quite make sense of. But there’s still all of the things you love in there: There’s fantastic action, very beautiful girls, lots of stunts, some very very good stuff with Judi Dench.”
