Katie Holmes takes her daughter Suri, 2, for a quick shopping trip at The Grove’s American Girl store in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon.

Katie was also accompanied by her mother, Kathleen, who helped carry her daughter’s purse and Suri’s milk bottle.

It was a great mother-daughter day for Tom Cruise’s leading ladies!

Katie just wrapped up filming her cameo for ABC’s hit drama, Eli Stone, with series regular Jonny Lee Miller.

Katie Holmes gets picked up and escorted home by husband Tom Cruise after spending some time with her mom in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old actress has been shooting for her guest spot on Eli Stone.

Eli producer Marc Guggenheim told E! that Katie, who is shooting in the next few days, might return. “There is absolutely the possibility for the character to recur. She’s wonderful and if she wants to come back, she’s more than welcome.”

“She is not just in one or two scenes. She is in a significant portion of the scenes. She is singing and dancing, but we do want to keep some of that a secret.”

Katie Holmes makes a surprise visit to the Union Station set of the ABC comedy-drama Eli Stone in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old actress reportedly filmed a cameo for an upcoming episode for the show’s second season. Eli Stone is about a “thirty-something attorney, whose name is the title of the show, begins having larger-than-life visions that compel him to do out-of-the-ordinary things.” Jennifer Aniston was also rumored to have filmed a cameo for Eli Stone, but that rumor was debunked.

Also on set with Katie was her husband and fellow actor, Tom Cruise, and their daughter, Suri, 2. Katie was seen wearing black gloves the whole time and carrying around a Starbucks cup. Tom’s mother, Mary Lee Mapother, was also seen on set and pictured below.

UPDATE: ABC president Steve McPherson updated reporters today about Katie’s role in the second episode of the upcoming season of Eli Stone. He said, “It’s a great role for her. There’s actually some singing and dancing she does and she’s exquisite. We’re shooting it over the next few days. It’s a really special piece of business. For a show that we really creatively believed in, it helps us from a promotional standpoint.”

Nicole Kidman was sent a large basket of baby gifts by ex-husband Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes to celebrate her new daughter Sunday Rose.

According to People, TomKat sent new mom Nicole and her country superstar husband Keith Urban’s little girl chenille giraffe baby blankets, posh items from the Hermes baby line as well as other baby goods.

Sunday Rose was born Monday in Nashville.

“We feel immensely blessed and grateful to be given this beautiful baby girl,” the Aussie power couple has said. “She’s an absolute delight.”

Tom Cruise carries daughter Suri, 2, while enjoying the 4th of July on Friday near the actor’s home in Telluride, Colorado.

Katie Holmes walked beside the father-daughter pair, with her hand on the small of Tom’s back. Their son Conner Cruise, 13, was also in attendance.

Katie said “Happy 4th of July” to photographers before Tom drove the family away in their SUV.

Mr. Cruise wore a cowboy hat while Suri looked super cute in an American flag headband. Favorite picture of the twosome: “Ugh, dad! Please be quiet. You’re embarrassing me!”

Hollywood mainstay Tom Cruise turns 46 today!

He’s been seen speeding around Los Angeles the past few days on his Ducati superbike. He was also spotted driving around with his son Connor.

It’s been his wife Katie Holmes, however, that’s been most of the headlines recently. Her upcoming Broadway debut in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons, hasn’t been the draw that most people expected.

His daughter Suri has also been seen out in public, last seen with a $100 bill!

Mrs. Tom Cruise, 29, will make her Broadway debut in All My Sons this coming fall. The show begins previews September 18th and the curtain will officially go up on October 16th.

“I’m so thrilled she’s coming to Broadway, and in a great play, All My Sons. That’s wonderful,” Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski has told OK!. “It always brings excitement when someone of that level comes.”

Katie Holmes is extending an olive branch to her husband’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman by sending her baby gifts, reports Star.

Katie, 29, shipped eight-months-pregnant Nicole, 41, a deluxe gift basket filled with onesies, stuffed toys, a baby blanket and more from Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills.

“Katie wanted the best of everything in the basket,” the insider says. “It cost over $2,000.”
