Disneyland's Tower of Terror to Become 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Ride

Disneyland’s famed Tower of Terror ride is about to get a Guardians of the Galaxy makeover!

During Marvel’s panel at Comic-Con, it was announced that the iconic ride in the California Adventure park will become Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!

Guests will be guided through the fortress-like museum of the mysterious Collector, who is keeping his newest acquisitions, the Guardians of the Galaxy, as prisoners. They will board a gantry lift which launches them into a daring adventure as they join Rocket Raccoon in an attempt to set free his fellow Guardians.

The ride will maintain its free fall sensation and be enhanced with new visual and audio effects. It’s set to open during the summer of 2017.

'Suicide Squad' Premieres New Trailer at Comic-Con 2016

The cast of Suicide Squad strikes a triumphant pose after a signing held at 2016 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 23) in San Diego, Calif.

Later in the day, the cast, including Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Viola Davis, Scott Eastwood, Cara Delevingne, Jai Courtney, Adam Beach, Joel Kinnaman, Jay Hernandez, Karen Fukuhara and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, took part in a panel to discuss the film.

During the presentation, the cast unveiled a brand new trailer for the film.

Grimm co-stars Bitsie Tulloch and David Giuntoli are engaged, according to Entertainment Tonight!

The couple revealed the happy news during a live chat at Comic-Con and explained that they have actually been engaged since April.

“We’ve just been quietly enjoying it,” David shared with Bitsie adding that they decided Comic-Con would be the first place she wore the ring in public.

Bitsie opened up about her ring, saying, “It’s over a hundred years old. The diamond is from the 1890s, and the setting is from 1915, which is the year my grandfather was born.”

Brie Larson Confirmed as Captain Marvel at Comic-Con 2016

Brie Larson was officially confirmed to play the role of Captain Marvel during the Marvel panel at 2016 Comic-Con!

The 26-year-old was first rumored to play Captain Marvel AKA Carol Danvers earlier this year but Marvel’s Kevin Feige made it official during the panel.

Brie even came out on stage to surprise the lucky audience! It was also announced that her film, Captain Marvel, is set to hit theaters on March 8, 2019.

Earlier in the day, Brie made an appearance on the panel for Kong: Skull Island.

'Doctor Strange' Debuts New Trailer at Comic-Con 2016 - Watch Now!

Doctor Strange just debuted a brand new trailer during the Marvel panel at 2016 Comic-Con!

The film, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch, is based on the superhero who first appeared in comic-books in 1963.

Bendict plays Stephen Vincent Strange, a former neurosurgeon who becomes the next Sorcerer Supreme and primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats.

The film also stars Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams and Mads Mikkelson.

Doctor Strange is set to hit theaters November 4th.
